I can wear with flat shoes and it doesn’t drag the floor so it’s the perfect length. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is because I thought the ruching went all the way around but the back is different. You can see it when you zoom in to the pics but I didn’t notice it until I received the dress. Also, the material has a silky feel but not quite as good quality as I thought it was going to be for the price. I also like that you can wear as is or cut to have an extremely deep V! ... show more

I wore this to a quince and it was super cute. It was a perfect simple dress. I had the great shape to show off without showing too much. The material is for summer (thin material) and unfortunately the quince was in the dead of winter. I was freezing my ass off walking about 10 minutes to get to the door with open toe shoes. Thought my toes were going to fall off. Goof thing, I still have my toes today lol Now the shoes I bought to go with this dress was another situation. The situation was I couldn’t move a muscle unless I wanted to ruin my perfect toes. No thank you :) I loved this dress. I wondered what happened to it, it’s been many years since I wore it. Before I bought this dress I read ALL the reviews, many mentioning the fabric. I ordered it anyway knowing I'd return it if I didn't like it. Dress arrived, I pulled it out of the bag, immediately understood all the fabric comments, and was like "nope, don't like this fabric at all...it's weird." Like shinny weird. Well, I decided to try it on anyway and I was instantly in love! To be clear, it's not T-shirt/knit fabric. If I had to describe it I'd say it's more like a stretchy rayon (terrible description probably). But hear me out, it falls PERFECTLY, shapes you but doesn't overly hug you so tight that you worry about muffin top, bra bulge, etc. showing. It drapes you in a way that is very flattering. The cleavage cut is just right, and the slit it perfect and also very flattering (could actually be a little higher TBH). This dress hides what we want to hide and most definitely accentuates what we want to show off! (For reference: I'm 5'6" 163#, 40/32/40 with curves and hips. I ordered this dress in black for my engagement pictures to match my fiancés military uniform. I ordered a L and it fit perfect. Very comfy and breathable fabric. The slit is perfect up to the knee. Came a little wrinkled but nothing a steamer couldn’t get out. Only issue is that it comes with a little piece of fabric in the chest that you can cut to make it a deep v neck or leave it. But if you don’t want to cut it, it’s just a hole that doesn’t look great. I actually sewed the material together and it looked great.
