This is the first battery supply I have bought, so bear that in mind. I even bought several colors for gifts. It does everything it says it can do, and did it well. The light is bright, and super long lasting, the battery topped up my phone and tablet in short order, and the pack itself recharged quickly. The only negative I would give it, is a very minor one, that little tiny solar panel on there is kind of a joke, but it is tiny, so I don't expect anyone to buy it expecting it to be super powerful. If you keep this in the sunlight, say on your dashboard, it will eventually recharge, but why would you unless you are camping and not near power to recharge it. I guess the solar is a nice back up feature as long as you are not in a huge hurry.

This is a great product for the price I paid, but it is important to understand the reality of what to expect when charging only with solar. I have not been able to achieve a full charge using solar yet, however, by the numbers it is a bit more complicated than just seeing the blue LEDs light up when the sun hits it. The charge value going into it is variable based upon the sun angle and the light intensity. There is simple math for this: 1 – Most solar panels produce about 17 watts per square foot per hour in optimal sun conditions. 2 – This unit’s solar panel is only 8 square inches total. 3 – 1 sq. ft. = 144 sq. in. 4 – 8 sq. in. divided by 144 = .0556 5 – Typical solar panel sq. ft. output is roughly 5.7 Ah(Amp Hours) x .0556 = .32 Ah or 320 mAh. 6 – This unit is said to be 38,800 mAh (38000mAh divided by 320mAh = 121 hours). 7 – In optimal sunlight, the math shows it would take 121 hours to charge from zero to full. 8 – Most solar panels charge at less than ¼ of their rated value. 9 – If this math is all correct, then it will take 484 sunny daylight hours to charge from zero to full. 10 – 484 divided by 8 hours of daily solar charge time = 60 typical sunny days to charge using only solar. It’s a good battery for the price, but buy it for its price and ability to charge your cellphone, rather than as a solar charging unit. If you are lost in the wilderness, it might take a couple days to charge this battery enough using only solar to produce enough power to make your emergency rescue call. Make sure to charge it using the USB method before you leave on your trip.

The solar does NOT charge the battery. I left the solar charger in the clear bright sun for hours various times and the battery did not charge. The construction is a bit flimsy. The USB port connector cover broke off first day. The battery works but if all I wanted was a plug in extra battery I could have bought that. Solar doesn't work!!

The solar panel seems pretty sensitive to light. It will charge sitting in the floorboard of my car on a bright day, or even with a flashlight. I wonder if it could keep itself going for eternity if I direct a mirror so that it shines its own flashlight beam back on itself to stay charged... Anyway I like it not having to rely on an outlet if I'm away from the house to charge my phone, or vape. Also I can now run some of my small devices cordlessly with the portal charger, such as my mini usb vaccuum cleaner.

This amazingly small Annero Powerbank packs a lot of power in a very compact package! After following the very easy to follow instructions, I charged the Powerbank. Afterwards, I charged TWO items at the same time. One was my backup Ring doorbell battery and the other my Apple iPad. It charged them both in record time. I will carry this in my emergency backpack. It even has a handy Caribiner! I will also use this back up my iPhone 13 pro when away from the house. This is a really convenient product!
