I bought this for bullet journaling and overall it has its pros and cons. I love the pages being numbered already with a blank index included that you can fill in; it saves me so much time having to do it myself. On the flip side, the dots ARE really hard to see in the dark, which makes writing in it difficult, though makes it good for doodling with stencils. I use mine daily and I noticed that keeping it flat has made some of the pages look like they're peeling away from the spine. I'm afraid they're going to fall out. Also, the two bookmarks for mine came a little frayed on the end. It's no big deal, I ended up snipping them with some scissors, but it was a little disappointing to see for a new journal. In terms of bleedthrough: I tested out multiple pens by different brands. Pilot Frixon erasable pens, felt tip pens, pens from the bookstore, Papermate pens, Noted by Post-It pens, and watercolor pens from a discount store. I also tested stamps. You can see in my images that some of it does bleed through. I don't think it's a huge deal, I just don't write anything important on the backs of those pages, or else it makes viewing my own handwriting hard. It's a really nice bullet journal, but I've found that there's only a select few types of markers that won't bleed through the pages. Its not something that concerns me too much, but something that should be noted. Personally, in my experience, children's markers, like Crayola and similar markers, work best. Binding is solid. Works well for bullet journaling. There is some bleed through with water based markers. I recommend using ball point pens (some shadowing present) and colored pencils.
