Let me start by explaining I'm relatively new on my barefoot journey. I've been ACTUALLY barefoot for years, but last year I bought Altras as a transition shoe. It was nice, but I needed more. What I like: These have amazing ground-feel. They're super comfortable. The insert removes easily. I have low volume feet that are on the slim side, and they fit me like a glove. What I don't like: in the weeks that I have spent wearing them, my feet have gotten longer so now my big toe rubs on the end (obviously not the manufacturer's fault, it's my mistake for not considering every anecdotal story ever and sizing up). The sole is made from a mesh material (because it's a water shoe, duh) that isn't the most comfortable feeling on bare feet, so I have to wear socks with them to be comfy (leaving the insert inside the shoe would likely also remedy this issue, but I don't want to lose the ground-feel). All in all a great shoe, and I will be sharing to my barefoot shoe enthusiast groups.

The media could not be loaded. I am so picky about shoes. I have to try 20-30 before I decide to buy one. I was planing to go to Hawaii and wanted a super light barefoot style water shoes that also good to wer while I am hiking or sightseeing. This time I thought I try this one on Amazon . I fall in love with the shoes at first try! It was the best decision that I've ever made. I got the bright red. I got so many compliments but the best part is: Super light and comfortable . Update. Size is not correct. I love the shoes and wanted to order another colors and checked my actual shoes what I ordered I ordered a size 7 US but these are 37EU which is smaller 6.5. I felt it was too snuggle ( still comfortable but I prefer a little bigger) So I recommend to order a bigger one

UPDATE: Jan 10, 2024 - These are the most comfortable water shoes I have worn. I wore them for a couple of days the entire day including to dinner on the ship. When they were wet and taken off, I put them on the balcony to dry and they were ready for the next day. (see pics above). I bought a pair for my daughter and myself. We both have only tried them on. We leave this weekend for vacation and when we get back I will update this post with a picture of us wearing them. In regards to trying them on, they are very comfortable and the souls seem to be a very thick material for a water show and for that I give 5 stars.

The price was great and I actual wanted this shoe for the drawstring. I can't give 5 stars as there is a piece on the tongue of the shoe that pokes into the front of the ankle area that is so painful. You have to make sure the piece is pushed away from the skin or you will have big issues. The price was right ant I actually like the color..

Perfect at the gym for Pilates, Barre, barefoot running on the treadmill, and pickleball. I also wear them in the summer as water shoes. Great fit!
