At first, it was not charging both devices (earbuds and phone) at the same time. I realized the brick I was using wasn't powerful enough to deliver power to both devices. It would always prioritize the phone. After connecting it to a more powerful adapter, both devices started charging just fine... Looks great, works great. Recommend it.

Intro: This product is 2 in 1 charging stand made by the company Anker. I have trusted Anker for a while now as their products are made by Ex-Google engineers, are designed in the USA, and websites like The Verge review their products favorably. I like this product a lot and use it when I am at my desk constantly. This 2 in 1 device lets me charge my iPhone and Air pods at the same time. This charge is also a magnetic mount also for landscape and portrait orientations use of my phone without the need to hold it. Descriptions: This charging mount costs around $35 when I purchased it. Uses a newer cable standard called USB-C that has been around for many years but has become extremely popular in the last 5 years. Uses Apple’s MagSafe standard for connecting magnetically to the iPhone and is very secure. The base of the mount has a spot for charging AirPods but can also charge anything that is Qi (pronounced “Chee”) certified which is used by most Android phones and other devices. The top charging mount allows for tilting and angling of the phone which is great for watching videos, facetime calls, or reducing glare from other light sources. Positives: This product is for Apple-designed products firstly and integrates well with the ecosystem by using Magsafe charging and QI standards. This is great for accessibility as the iPhone and AirPods make familiar charging sounds when placed on the charger and you do not have to worry about messages saying this is a foreign charging accessor. The ability to tilt and rotate the phone freely while charging is great for reducing glare, making it more comfortable to see, and allowing the ability to use the phone without holding it. I could see this being a great charger for people with mobility issues with their hands and arms as it does not require holding the phone and you can continually adjust the orientation of the phone and tilt it. The strong magnetic grip on the phone is very stable and takes a lot of force to knock it off. This could translate to this being good for people with tremors or fine motor skill impairments as the phone is stationary making UI targeting easy on the phone, you no longer have to take the tiny iPhone charging cable and plug it into the phone which I could see being difficult at times. The magnet also aligns the phone to the charging area which on other wireless charges that do not have the magnet can be difficult to find the charging area ‘sweet spot’. Negatives: While the magnet is a great feature overall and can make phone use and charging easy and accessible it also has some cons. The magnet is too strong for the base. Due to the power of the magnet and phone when you got to remove the phone you need to hold the base and then pull at the phone requiring two hands or doing a complex finger maneuver to squeeze the phone off the mount with one hand. This is not very accessible and causes my AirPods to fall off my desk or flung across my desk. It took awful to get used to not being able to just reach for my phone to take off the charging mount and I could see this being a bigger issue if used on a nightstand as grabbing your phone might cause whatever you are charging on the base to fall off or not successfully charge at night leaving you with a dead battery in the morning. Another negative I have is that it cannot charge my Apple Watch which would make this a perfect charger. It is also worth mentioning that this does not charge your phone as quickly as the cable would or if you have fast charging power brick as wireless charging is not as advanced yet. Rant / Rave: I love this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a phone mount for their desk especially not their nightstand. There is a learning curve to using this product, especially in tandem with other devices charging below the phone. For accessibility, I find this could be a create secure option that gives people phone stability and ease of charging.

Using this with my 15 Pro and I love it. The magnets are strong, strong enough to have to use 2 hands to remove the device. Charging speeds seem to be just fine, although I don't have a way of actually testing this outside of dropping my phone on it. On the wireless charger on the base, I had no issues charging my Airpods or any other truly wireless earbuds that support wireless charging. I did try to charge an Apple Watch just for fun and that did not work (expected). All in all this is a great charger as long as you don't need to also charge an Apple Watch. Can't beat it for the price and Anker's track record. 100% recommend.
