  • Works as advertised - and very convenient to use!
I purchased this a few months ago - it works great. Besides the convenience of just putting your phone on it to charge, there are no moving parts so it should last a long time. No matter what type of plug-in lightning cord I bought, they eventually wore out from putting it in and out of the phone every day. I have a very heavy case (Otterbox Defender) on my iphone SE (2020) and the charger works fine. However, it is much slower to charge than a lighting cord with a USB-C charger, but I charge mine overnight so it's not a concern. And it is definitely bulkier than just carrying a cord, so I don't use it for travel. But for nightly bedside use, it's fantastic! I also bought a second one for my desk, now I throw the phone on the charger whenever I am working at my desk, no plugging and unplugging the cord! The only (very minor) downside to the wireless charger is that you need to put the phone on the charger somewhat centered to make sure it is charging. This is usually not an issue, since the phone makes a noise and the little blue light on the charger comes on when the phone is charging. But if you are lying in bed and pick up your phone, you might need to roll over to make sure it goes back centered on the charger. Overall, I love these chargers! ... show more

  • A Nice Inductive Charger - Just Make Sure You Use A Powerful Power Supply
I have picked up a few of these and have used them for several phones and headphones. It travels/packs well too. Just make sure you use a wall wart/power supply that has sufficient amperage (at least 2 amps). The factory iPhone wall wart will not be enough, and the documentation on this product specifically and clearly warns about this. I have bought at least three of these and have a year's worth of use on them. The blue indicator light showing that the unit is supplying a charge to your device is a nice feature as well. My phone has a modest case on it and it charges it without a problem. One of our phones has a more robust case with metal/magnets in it and it does not work with that case - I don't expect this case to work with any inductive charger, so that is not a criticism on this inductive charger.. ... show more

  • Simple, functional, dependable
Like most Anker products, this one does not disappoint. I've owned 3 of these over the years. I gave one away as a hand-me-down after 2 years. I've had the replacement for almost 2 years. This product works great and stands the test of time, yet manages to remain simple and lightweight. No surprise there coming from Anker, a trusted name in electronics. ... show more

  • Saved me from buying a new phone
I was about to upgrade to a newer phone because my charging port is screwed up. Its a Samsung Galaxy S21 5G so a relatively new phone still in great shape aside from charging.Using a cord it charges fine but takes 1min or longer sometimes of fussing with the cord to get it stuck in just right. Honestly easier to find a woman's g-spot than it is to turns this phone on and get it to start charging. This wireless charger does the job perfect charges a little slower but not having to deal with a cord anymore is a dream. ... show more

  • Easy charging
So much easier to use, as you just place the phone on top, no more unplugging and plugging the phone when need to use!! Wish I had purchased one sooner!

  • Would I buy again? No way.
I felt like my family was going through phone cords left and right. Constantly buying new ones, kids constantly losing them, so when it occurred to me to get these wireless chargers, I was shocked it took us so long to think of this solution. Welp… Maybe this is common in all brands, but I hate it. The phone has to be in the exact perfect position in order to charge. I feel like I’m pushing a centimeter here and there in order for it to start charging. God forbid I wake up in the middle of the night and look at my phone real quick because ill be wide awake by the time I get the thing back to charge. I thought I’d get the hang of it and it’d go quicker after a while. I got the hang of it, but it’s still so specific that it still takes a few seconds and a few nudges to get it linked. Something I also didn’t consider when buying that I just want to remind people — you can’t use your phone while it’s charging. Obvious, I know, but it just didn’t occur to me. So if my phone is dying and I’m on it, Im hanging up with someone to charge instead of just charging while talking. No phone time in bed while also charging. I feel like it’s more of a pain than the cost of cords. I’m cheap though, so we’ll keep using these and I’ll just keep hating them. ... show more

  • works fine, looks great
it functions... as expected. charges all my devices that accept wireless charging. it does warm up my devices, but randomly??? that's to be expected tbh. the gray part of the pad is soft and it looks sleek and elegant. i'd harp on the name being printed on the charger, but i suppose anker is a well known enough brand for them to get away with it. the charging indicator goes blue when it's on, and it stays on until the device is fully charged. kinda annoying at night, but i just put them away from sight so it doesn't catch my eye when i'm in bed. ... show more

  • Works Fine - Assuming You Have Patience
This is a typical, good-quality Anker product. I don't particularly care how fast my phone charges, I drop it on this thing in the night and it is charged in the AM. If I desperately need my phone to charge fast, then I am going to plug it in anyway. So I wasn't particularly excited about the speed of this vs. other options out there. I mainly wanted it to work reliably and not catch on fire, cook my phone, etc. Basically, for anything like this that is power related, I tend to steer clear of the fly-by-night brands nobody has ever heard of. So far, so good. It doesn't seem incredibly fussy about exactly where the phone lands on the pad, as long as you aim to center the phone on the pad, it reliably connects virtually every time, you almost never have to fiddle with it to get it to link to the phone. And there is a discrete, soft little light on the edge of the pad that lets you know it is connected and charges. Just bright enough to let you know, not crazy bright so it would be annoying on your bedside table at night. The pad material is a soft rubber, unlikely to scratch your phone, and I never find the phone is hot even after sitting on it for hours. ... show more
