For a cord, it's on the more expensive side. But it is usb-c to lightning, and there are other similar brands that have just as pricey if not more so cables. I've made a habit of using Anker products and the one time I had an issue, they refunded the product. They seem to be a brand that makes decent items and stands behind them. I was a bigger fan of the sleeving they used on the previous generation. This one doesn't feel as nice to the touch/feels cheaper. Maybe it's actually a more durable material. There isn't a noticeable size difference between the II+ and III+ once you have them in hand. No idea if they charge or transfer data faster. ... show more

I always try to go for the PowerLine+ series cables since they seem lighter/more flexible and feel better than the other variation, and this wasn't an exception. When comparing this and the older versions, I didn't see much of a difference in thickness, but I could feel it. It's slightly thinner than the older models. The build quality is great as always, but, if color or thickness isn't a priority and you're just looking for a cable, I would get the Powerline+ II cables instead. Looks and feels like a heavy duty cable. Not a fan of the rigidity in the braided design but I guess it’s a valid trade off. Everything about it feels high quality, but it’s price… not sure if I would buy it again. I’ve always bought the nylon cables for my Apple products and they never disappoint. I’ve never needed to use the warranty on one and I expect this to last the same. Highly recommend cause the Apple cables always suck.
