Description

Q1:How is the rated 35-hour fridge runtime measured? A: The 35-hour runtime is based on lab testing with a 700 L refrigerator at 77°F (25°C) ambient, 37°F (3°C) main compartment, and 0°F (-18°C) freezer. Actual runtime will vary depending on your refrigerator model, usage habits, and ambient temperature. Q2:How do I estimate the runtime for my refrigerator? A: Check your Energy Guide label for rated daily consumption (kWh / day), then use this formula: Runtime = Capacity (kWh) × Inverter Efficiency (0.9) ÷ Daily Energy Use (kWh / Day). E.g., (2kWh × 0.9) ÷ 1.1kWh / day ≈ 1.64 days (~ 39 hours). Q3:How do I make my Anker SOLIX S2000 run more quietly? A: To reduce fan noise, enable Silent Mode in the app and set the charging power to 600W or below. We also recommend updating Anker SOLIX S2000 to the latest firmware to ensure optimum performance. Q4:What devices can Anker SOLIX S2000 power? A: S2000 supports up to 1,500W of continuous output. If a red "OVERLOAD" indicator appears, disconnect the appliance immediately to clear the fault. Note: Some appliances, such as microwaves, may draw more power than their rated wattage. Q5: What are the functional limitations of different App connection methods? A: Without the App, you will not be able to modify any settings, nor update the firmware to fix bugs and access new features. To access the full range of features, the device must be connected to the App via Wi-Fi. Please note that you must register and log in to the App to enable the Wi-Fi connection. If you choose to connect via Bluetooth only, the following features will be unavailable: --Time-of-Use (TOU) Mode / Remote Control / Storm Guard / Custom Mode / Self-Consumption Mode / Historical Data. • This is the one to buy (and also a great UPS)!
Set name: S2000
Leave it to Anker Solix to beat all the competition. Again. This unit is more efficient, has a longer run time, and is lighter and smaller than any 2 Kwh power station from a reputable brand. If you buy this on sale it's literally cheaper than buying 2 Kwh worth of name brand LifePO4 batteries by themselves and around the price of 1KWh units from the competition! It's also really quiet or completely silent in most circumstances. One measurement you may not have seen is how much power is used in "UPS Mode" once the battery is charged to the desired level. A typical small 600 VA UPS draws around 5 watts from the wall all the time even with nothing plugged into it. That's over $5/year in electricity. This power station, with massively more capacity, only draws 3 watts in UPS mode! That 600 VA UPS, with it's old-tech lead acid battery, only gives you a few minutes of run time when the power goes out with say a 200 watt load. The S2000 will power a 200 watt load for around NINE HOURS. And the under 10ms switching time is fast enough to not upset most computers but, for something especially critical, you might want to test it a few times first or consider using a UPS after the S2000. But, in my experience, most consumer grade UPS units are unreliable once they're a few years old. Even a blink in the power will have them switch to battery for a few seconds and, if the batteries have silently grown weak, the ancient-tech UPS will drop the load. The Anker app is also great. It's very similar to the one from Ecoflow with everything you need. Ecoflow doesn't make anything, yet at least, that can compete with this S2000 hardware-wise. I'm hoping Anker comes out with smaller models in this series like a S1000, S500, etc. ... show more

  • Helped me through a recent power outage
Set name: S2000
This power station (with *a lot* of power) has helped me through a recent power outage! It delivered like less than a week before the 30 hour outage that I had. But this lasted through it without any issues! Keeping things in my room charged and powered. I did recharge it to full halfway in the outage since I wasn’t sure how much longer the outage was going to last (more of topping it off) At full speed charging (the usual 1,200 watts not the super fast charging mode of 1,600 watts) the fan is very quiet and the battery backup doesn’t make much heat I have this connected to WiFi so I can control and monitor this remotely (this allowed me to keep an eye on power level when I physically wasn’t home along with estimated time as well) I haven’t yet taken this out with me for portable uses since I had to use this for an outage that occurred in a very short amount of time after getting the device (it really powered through it well) As for charging speed? From device power on to full charge, it took 1.5 hours from 33% to 100%. Maintaining 1,200 watts constantly throughout the charge. I do find it interesting I can adjust the charging speed as precise as 100 watts. So if I want exactly the 1000 watts sure. If I want to go as low as 100 watts sure. Anywhere in between? Sure! The app does mention lower charging wattages are silent (and a “quiet time” can be configured) The handles in the unit are built in to allow me to easily carry this around. It is not light but not overwhelmly heavy. I can carry this around with me. But I don’t think putting this in a backpack (if one is big enough) would be a good idea long term. It’s likely a bit too heavy for that (but again, 2Kwh of battery power isn’t going to be light. At least not at the moment in the current time) It does have 5 AC outlets that can be switched on in the app or by pressing the dedicated button for it. Two on the back and three on the front. It also has two usb-C and one usb-A on the front. (One usb-C allows for 100w of power usage while the other I think allows 20w and the type A port does 12W?) I have yet to give the solar feature of the battery a try as I do not yet have the solar panels. But I am very curious if I could run my AC outputs on solar if the battery is fully charged and I have AC plugged in (like could I offset my electrical usage by having solar plugged in?) Overall, I bought this unit to be almost a replacement to my current UPS since I wanted a higher capacity ups and a higher wattage ups but other actual ups options were quite pricy. This seemed to fit both. (In the app there is a “UPS” mode. Default. The device functions as a ups. Switching to battery the moment power is lost and then charging once power is restored. There’s other power modes like charging when the power is cheap and using battery when the power is pricy to save on electric bills and even a custom mode) Also in the app, there’s a function to configure how much I want to allow the battery to charge to and discharge to. Default it’s set to 1-100% but if I want to, I could restrict charging to 80% or 90% of capacity and discharge percentage to like 10% if I want to. Interesting feature. Useful for possibly prolonging the battery life if the battery feature isn’t used often. Also I almost forgot! The unit does track energy usage! Like you can see discharge and charge power usages in kWh including solar power usage as well (I don’t have solar so I haven’t been able to see the numbers here. Just AC power usage numbers) you can see power usage per day, week, month and I think year as well. Useful for tracking specific power usage (there’s a line graph as well!) :) I like this device. It’s simple, nice and can be controlled in the app. I currently do have my current APC ups plugged into the Anker solex battery as an extra buffer of power in case of anything (note, outputs do get disabled temporarily when doing firmware updates. But they don’t take long) Would I recommend this? 100%! It’s a simple, compact solution to power savings. I did think it might be funny to use this to charge my car for 20% of it’s battery since 120v charging would not exceed this device’s max power output :) (Also to note: if you have AC connected to it and you enable AC output on (it will stay on). The ports will be in pass through mode. So if the voltage of the input is low, the output will be low too. I think the battery might enable itself if the voltage of the input drops too low. But I haven’t tested this) ... show more

  • A Real Game Changer!
Set name: 200W Solar Panel+S2000
I bought the Anker Solix S2000 with the 200 watt solar panels because I lost hundreds of dollars in food during an extended power outage. I feel a lot better knowing I have a way to preserve my food (and wallet) after extensive testing this power station. I tested how long it could run my window AC, powered my entire entertainment setup with it, and have done other things like cooking a steak and rice with an induction cooker and instant pot while off grid. So safe to say I have put the Anker to some real use, and it passed every test I threw at it. My only regret is not going ahead and getting the 400 watt panels to maximize the solar charging capacity. I made videos for all my testing on my YouTube channel @PMP2015. There was no setup required, it charges to 100% very fast, the solar panels are easy to setup and durable, I like the built in magents that keep it closed and handles make it easy to carry. I was very surprised how well it performed while using high watt devices. Its also nore compact that other similar units and easy to carry with the built in handles on the front and back. Its going to end up saving hundreds each time there is a power outage by keeping my foods cold so its a great overall value, plus the ability to have power no matter where I go is a huge benefit. Its simple to use, everything is just plug in and you are set. It also has a lot of option, including several outlets and a few different USB connections. If you are considering this unit just go ahead and get it. You will be happy with it! ... show more

  • Peace of mind.
Set name: S2000
We just had a 25 hour power outage recently and lost some dairy items in the fridge but the freezer items appear to have survived. Been in this house for 12 years and luckily this has been our longest power outage. A number of my neighbors have whole house generators and even though our power doesn't go out that often I have considered the whole house version. My main concern has always been the fridge/freezer items and after seeing this Anker SOLIX S2000 on Amazon I decided to investigate further. There are numerous positive reviews on Amazon and numerous real life tests on YouTube. I watched a few YouTube videos that demonstrated the Anker SOLIX S2000 actually does run a full size fridge/freezer for 35 hours just as advertised. After watching actual demonstrations I was sold and now own the SOLIX S2000. Other benefits to this specific generator are the smaller size and being lighter at just 35 lbs. along with the price of $599.99. The generator arrived with a 55% charge and I believe it took approximately 1 hour to bring it to 100%. Fan noise while charging at the normal speed is minimal too. Also, the generator did come with a charging cord so I was pleased with that. I did download the app, as suggested, but this is simply plug and play. I haven't needed to use it yet but I am okay with that because I now have some peace of mind knowing I have this generator should I need it. ... show more

  • Great, Compact, Powerful - Two Small(ish) Flaws
Set name: S2000
As everyone else seems to be saying, so far so good! I have several other Anker power stations and they all work flawlessly, so I didn't expect anything less here. I've only had it for a few days but have put it through some testing already. It powered my Hisense window AC (the one from Costco) for an hour with no problems, and the battery only dipped to ~80%. I plugged other items into it and it had no problem powering those either. I haven't tried it with anything that pulls over 1,000 watts yet, but I don't expect that to be an issue either. It really seems like the ideal power station for use as a UPS instead of for camping, van living, etc. The AC outlets on front and back are a nice touch too. And the overall size and weight make it a bit more manageable for home use where you won't be moving it around too much. The app is also good and it was easy to get connected to Bluetooth and WiFi. Two things that aren't great: 1. The fan. It is annoyingly noisy. Like just a droning sound, not even the chitter chatter of a dying PC fan that we've all heard. Just an obnoxious, terrible, consistent sound. To be fair, it only came on for me while charging at 1,200W and not during the other tests, so that's somewhat reassuring. But in a bedroom or office where you might be irritated by this kind of noise, it could be a non starter. I wish they would've thrown a Noctua in there or something. 2. The initial burn-off while doing the first charge was AWFUL. My whole house smelled so bad for hours. It was that unmistakable "new electronics are heating up and burning off toxic chemicals" smell. Thankfully, it dissipated and on subsequent uses there was no odor. Overall, I'm glad I have this and will probably buy more as they go on sale for other rooms of the house. ... show more

  • Very happy with this purchase
Set name: S2000
This is just what I needed to protect against most of the aggravation of a power outage. I have my Wifi, lights and some necessary medical equipment permanently connected for uninterrupted service. If the power is out for an extended period of time I can easily run an extension cord to the refrigerator so I don’t ever have to worry about food spoilage. Setup with the wifi interface was seamless. The unit is compact, unobtrusive, and very portable. 2 kWH is more than adequate for my needs. If the power is ever out for longer than a day, I could easily take it outside to recharge with a portable generator. The price was actually less than similar products and Anker is a respected manufacturer. ... show more

  • Great looking battery in an amazingly small form factor
Set name: S2000
I purchased this battery after watching several online reviews. It really is as small as it looks—having 2kWh of power in such a compact, rectangular form factor is fantastic. Because it features outlets on both the front and back of the unit, it's incredibly versatile. I’m currently using it as a UPS for my network rack in the basement, but it would also be great under an office desk for a computer. It’s also super quiet, which is perfect for spaces where a loud fan would be disruptive. We just had a 24-hour power outage last week, and this unit lasted a full 13 hours powering my rack. Since the outage, I’ve hooked up a 400W solar panel to it. I'm confident that with good sun, I could easily get several days of runtime out of it. Anker’s app is great; I use it for several of their other power stations, and it makes monitoring seamless. If this goes on sale, buy it! I highly recommend it. ... show more

  • excellent portable power station
Set name: S2000
So far, so good! I've been eyeing the S2000 for a while, and it was definitely worth the wait. Right off the bat, I love the app interface—it's incredibly clean. Because Anker consolidated so many features into the app (and the options are unprecedentedly rich), I highly recommend actually reading the user manual to familiarize yourself with everything. Since I kinda work from home full-time, losing power is not an option for me. But before I trusted this thing to actually back me up during an outage, I wanted to run it through some serious stress tests myself. I hooked up almost all my appliances. I was really amazed that the average power draw of the coffee maker went over 1600W, which totally blew my expectations away. The biggest surprise? It ran my full-size 220L fridge for 1 hour and it only cost about 3% of the total battery, so if you do the math, that implies a total runtime of 33 hours—which is great. I'll admit I was sweating a little because the fridge was fully stocked when I did this test, but it didn't skip a beat. Overall, it's proven to be an incredibly reliable machine. Just a solid, dependable power station that gives me total peace of mind. ... show more
