Good product for light use. For heavy duty every day use won't last 2 months. UPDATE 08.08.17 Here's what happened: A Customer Service Hero named Kevin reached out to me insisting that my cables are defective. And he asked me for a chance to improve my shopping experience with their products by sending me a replacement! Can you believe that? And I happily accepted the replacement and before I know, he sent me the tracking information, and I said to myself, wow this guy is really serious about how good their products are. 2 days later, I received the replacement and what do you know! This is really good quality cables, I even put the cables to the worst cables nightmare, I stretched it, bent it intentionally! And those bad boys were the last cables standing. I really love my new cables. So I changed my review to 5 stars cause of the quality of those cables and I'd give them 1000 stars for the outstanding customer service. If there's anything to be learn here is that Anker isn't just about technology, it's about customer service too. Original review below. Anker contacted me and offered to replace my faulty cable. Now that I have had it for some time, I'm updating this review. First of all, excellent customer service. They were kind, understanding and prompt. Replacement was not a hassle at all, and after I gave them the serial number from the cord, I was not required to return the item in this specific circumstance - individual results may vary. Onto the cable itself: They actually sent me the upgraded PowerLine+. It's very much like the Powerline I originally purchased, but the nylon cable and reinforced cable head truly make this product feel more sturdy than the Powerline. The included carrying case is a lifesaver - keeps it from getting tangled up in my bag and makes it easy to just pull out each end as needed when I'm out and about. I have not had any problems with it so far, still get the same excellent charging speeds with my Galaxy S7, S8+ (using the USB-C adapter) and PS4 peripherals. Other "fast" charging cables will only say "Charging" on the notification tooltip when plugged into the Galaxy phones - both the Powerline and the Powerline+ are capable of higher speeds and will show "Fast Charging" on the notification. Overall I highly appreciated this experience, and next time I need a cable, I will very likely be going for the Powerline+. I have updated my review from 3 to 5 stars for the customer service, speed, and the graciously upgraded product, which is working wonderfully. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This was my favorite charging cable so far - Length is great, charging speeds absolutely fantastic and no sign of damage or wear to the cable itself 7 months after purchase. However, the connector hooks that hold the charger in the port has now stopped working for me. Everyone wants to use my charging wire! I have used it with my Android Motorola Turbo 2, Spigen 3 coil wireless charger, Amazon Kindle 8 2016 and Asus Nexus 7 2013. My son and husband have also used it with their various Android devices. The cord on this is much thicker than any of my other charging cords but still maintains great flexibility. The micro usb end piece that fits into your device is very well defined and well shaped. Some chargers look more oval shape. Through the years I have had many charging ports break on my devices. (Thus the need for the Spigen 3 coil wireless charger.) I think that is in part to lesser quality charging cables as well as me fumbling to plug something in in the dark. I now put a little bit of white nail polish on the short side of every micro USB charger so I can very easily see which side is which. ... show more

I have several Anker cables and this is the only one I've had an issue with. The Micro USB connector was loose and wouldn't stay in the device, which meant it kept connecting and disconnecting and only charging when it was in that perfect position. I emailed Anker with the problem and received an immediate answer. They sent a replacement cable that fits perfectly snug in my devices (Kindle, Dualshock 4, portable bluetooth speaker, among other things). Great customer service and will absolutely keep buying from them. Highly recommend. Last note about the actual cable - I love Anker cables because they are durable but allow it to be bent. They also don't show those creases from being folded in transport. ... show more

Seeing as how most of the devices these days phrased out micro USB in favor of the more versatile USB C. I found myself without a single micro USB cable, but needed one for an HDMI adapter when I went to hook up a cracked screen phone to a tv. Having prior positive experience with Anker cables, I got one of these micro USB versions, and I must say the cable quality looks superb, very thick and durable for sure. So far I haven't experienced any micro tip breakage, and would like to think that the streak of broken cable reviews may have been from a defective batch sale. Hopefully this batch is corrected. Although I don't plan on using this cable frequently anyway ... show more
