This D-ring design is better than the fixed hook type but still requires precise measuring work on the wall to fit well. It offers ~ 1/8 inch of tolerance. One suggestion is to offer a French cleat anchor option to anchor to the 2x4s for peace of mind, easier installation and future replacement. Was looking for a brushed silver, preferably nickel round mirror for my new vanity in a small half bath. Was hard to know if it would be a cheap looking brushed silver or actual nickel (to match my faucet) - this read nickel so I gave it a shot. This is low profile, very sturdy, good quality construction - has weight to it and the mirror is a good quality glass. Overall very happy with this purchase.
