I don't often get this excited about anything I buy. But, this cable literally saved my phone. I have an older Samsung Galaxy Note 4. I love this old relic because it has a removable/replaceable big battery and I can put any size memory card into it (up to & including 512 MB) and it has a nearly 7" screen. But for about the last year I haven't been able to transfer pictures and videos I've taken with it to my computer. Error notices appear on the computer and nothing I've tried has fixed it including going to Verizon twice and having the computer checked out at the Micro Center for this problem while it was being looked at for something else. No one had an answer for the picture transfer problem except Verizon recommending I buy a new phone. That's their stock answer for nearly anything I've ever gone to them with a phone problem on. So, I receive these 2 cables today and figure what the heck, let me try one of them for picture transfer. I didn't expect anything except the usual error message"there are no new pictures to transfer from this device". But, to my shock and amazement no error message showed but the beginning of photo transfer began! There were 775 photo's and videos and they transferred faster than I'd ever seen that function perform! I was seriously considering that Verizon was right and I just needed a new phone and probably would have bought one sometime this week. I can't rate these cables high enough. The one feature I noticed right away is how solid and firm the fit of the micro end of the cable into the phone is. When I put it into the phone and it locked in so solidly I said to myself "that's good" I didn't realize how good it really is! I'll say this to anyone owning an older Galaxy Note phone, Buy this cable. I don't know who sells it to Amazon nor do I get anything from anybody for writing this review, but I'm certainly grateful for this cable's high quality and for saving me from having to buy another phone.

To start, I am currently still using a Note 4. How this works with more current phones, I cannot say, but based off of previous purchases, I'm convinced Samsung must have reduced the charger size. If not, then all the precious chargers I've bought have been trash. Actually, they still are trash, which is why I tried these cables out. I've seen other reviews claiming/showing that the connection is too big for their phone, or in comparison to official Samsung products. I will say that it does seem a bit longer, but the connection is solid for me, it fits easily, but firm without and wiggle room as other products. I've went through nearly a dozen chargers in the past year, and even bought one for $18 that was the official Samsung brand (like 2 weeks ago), but even that one sucked. The connection was slightly smaller, and it never did charge properly more times than not, and a few times it didn't even charge. Now, after buying these cables, I've seen the difference immediately. The phone will charge even if I'm currently using it. And, I've noticed a far superior charge overall. Literally like it originally was when I 1st got the phone years ago. On a side note, I even replaced the battery when I bought the new "official" charger, and still had problems keeping a real charge. Even convinced it was apps, but nothing would prevent the automatic drainage that plagued my phone. Now, charges last longer, stronger if you will. Yes, even on quick charge. As for the product itself, that's a long cable lol. Perhaps overkill to be honest, but that's just me. If you like the idea of a long cable, you shouldn't be disappointed with this. The quality feels good. Bends easily and not rubbery and stiff like the Samsung cords. All the previous cords felt cheap, these however feel and look like they'll hold up for quite some time. Overall, the product itself works excellent. Seems very sturdy, flexible, and reliable. Has plenty of length to allow easier positions/movement if need be. It's only been a few days since I received mine, and already tempted to buy another set for future uses. Let's face it, regardless how good a product is, wear and tear eventually comes down upon a product.

Not a lot to say about these: they work perfectly for everything that I've used them for, from charging my phone to connecting peripherals to the computer. That was as expected. I wasn't sure about the quality of the nylon covering to the cables (which I prefer, to reduce tangles); these are sometimes rough and inflexible.... but not here. These are nice and smooth, with fine, soft fibers, so they're nice and flexible.

I got a pack of cords. 1 cord is 6 foot, the other is about 3 foot. Description says, both cords are supposed to be 6 foot. However, I like the shorter cord when I use my battery pack. The longer cord went into my lunch cooler, as I use it in my semi truck, since I need a cord to keep my phone charged, because I use a app on my phone for my DOT logbook, and my phone battery would not last for a whole shift. The cord worked great until a few days ago, when I noticed my phone was not charging as fast as it should. The charging light is on, but it does not charge fast. I used my short cord today, and it worked like a charm. I understand that cords wear out over time, but for it to wear out, when it was delivered on May 23rd, it a bit disappointing. Maybe it's because of the daily wear and tear of being wrapped up, and stretched out every day I work, or maybe it's just a faulty cord. But, I do like the braided cords because they do seem to be able to take a bit more abuse than non-braided cords.
