Just got this and I've been shaving my head for 20+ years so I've had some crap clippers and some good over the years never paid over $30 this time my last pair finally died after 4 years said screw it let me get a professional one pay the extra. Was worried after the bad reviews about the blades getting hot, broken,noisy etc. Let me say the machine does heat up after about 15 mins but the coolant spray it works I didn't even need it I've had clippers that actually burned my skin and blades that were like little needles so this machine is like heaven compared to those. As for the blade breaking like I saw in one idk how it happened these blades are solid unless maybe it was dropped. Not noisy at all either I've had clippers you adjust with a screwdriver that sounded like a tractor trailer these are like a nice Porsche hum. We will see after time how they hold up but from what I see and feel this is a quality product and taken care of I'm sure I'll get at least 5+ years out of it ... show more

I had to send the trimmer to Andis for repair within a month because it was overheating, tugging, and leaving small cuts. Andis gave it back with a different blade, and it has worked beyond expectations since.
