Ok so I'm one of those people who rushes in the morning, and 90% of those mornings, I bunch up my used towel and throw it on the bed. With most towels, it'll remain fairly damp the next day. Not these hemp towels! They dry so quickly...and I live in San Diego where it's often decently humid (not like the south but still). It's lightweight, dries my hair pretty effectively, doesn't seem to get funky smells, didn't shrink. The downsides: it does shed a bit the first few washes, and if you're looking for an eco friendly towel that also feels all luxurious and soft this is not going to be that. Overall, I'm very impressed. We also tried Sand Cloud and actually like these hemp ones way more. ... show more

    • Very Absorbent and drys fast but...
I really like that these are made from hemp and are more earth friendly but they are not soft. I washed them several times in cold water with a plant based detergent and fabric softener on the normal cycle and they haven't softened up. I still like these towels but do wish they had a softer feel.

I love this towel. It absorbs well, it’s very soft to the touch, and it’s ORGANIC! It is pricey so I will be waiting to purchase a second one. But I’m very happy with the quality. It’s also a great size, not too small or then, but also not to large or bulky!

    • Favorite towel. Going on 3 years of daily use. The same one towel.
I have been using this towel exclusively daily for 3 years now. I just ordered a second one because it’s nice to not stress about washing and drying but I’m a minimalist and I don’t like extra stuff. It’s held up soooo well. It dries fast and never smells. I was it about once a week. (I feel like the fluffy ones you need to wash every 2-3 showers) Doesn’t leave fuzz on you. Dries your body well. This Towel is honestly very underwhelming, I’m sure you can find a regular towel at a store with better quality or the same quality as this one. It takes multiple washes (It took 6 washes for me) for all the loose bits of material to fully fall off. And if you don’t already know why that’s so bad, it’s because you can’t use the towel until you’re sure it won’t shed anymore otherwise all the material will stick to your skin.
