You can turn them off by holding the defogger button for 3 seconds. Is the fog removal covered the whole mirror？ For energy-saving, the mirror is designed with partial heating pad located on the center of the mirror but not over the whole mirror. Therefore, the fog removal effect weakens from the center to the edge(the heating pads varies among different sizes) What should I do if the brightness is not sufficient? Ensure the voltage is within the range of 110-120V. Maximize the brightness setting - Make sure to set the mirror to 6000K cool white light color temperature setting and adjust the brightness to 100%.
