....As my friend exclaimed when they saw me today. Not my aim, but an unexpected bonus. I ordered this dress in black in a size M. I'm about 5'4" and generally wear a US size 8-10 in tops and 10-12 in bottoms. Honestly, I was hesitant to buy this dress, but I absolutely love it. I wore it out today for the first time and got a lot of complements on it. So if you're thinking of buying this dress here's a few pros and fyi's on this dress Pros: A dress with decent pockets that I could keep my phone in. (Need I say more?!) Lightweight and comfy I have scars on my arms and legs and the long length and sleeves are great for covering up without adding a lot of bulk, especially during the summer. Can be a multi season dress: Spring-Fall Stays off the shoulder and doesn't droop. Fyi's- (Not so much cons as things you should be aware of) Initially fabric had a chemical smell and felt a little plastic. However this was fine after washing it before wearing it. Fabric is the same as basic black leggings, so choose your underwear wisely. I'm 5'4" and the Medium was very long and pooling around my feet. So I had to walk by holding the hem of my skirt on one side. This didn't bother me much, but you can hem it if you need to. My upper arms are on the thicker side and the top of the sleeve fits slightly tighter. But after wearing the dress all day the sleeves were perfectly fine. It's not a super breathable fabric, but can be worn in hot weather. It's more about what you're able to tolerate in those conditions. I'd definitely buy this again, perhaps in another color. I love this dress! The only thing I would improve is the thickness of the material. With that being said, be sure to wear black underwear under this garment to combat any sheerness. This dress is great for anyone who wants to cover any of the problem areas women tend to worry about. Arms, stomach, thighs. Another bonus.. if you wear the proper supportive strapless bra, you won't need spanks! I would recommend this dress as an option for a wedding party because of the price and because it can easily be dressed up and elevated with sparkly jewelry and heels, and also it's easy to turn into a casual comfy piece with some sandals and a ponytail! I'm 5'9 and 200 lbs. This dress is the perfect length if I'm in heels. In flats, it covers my toes and drags in the back too. Consider having a tailor it seamstress cutting it for you if necessary. ... show more

I’m always skeptical buying clothes on amazon , but this dress did not disappoint! It is so flattering and lightweight. It has pockets! The off the shoulder actually stays off the shoulder & doesn’t ride up when you put your hands up. I ordered a large & typically wear L-XL & it fits perfect! I’m 5’3 & the length is also perfect! So I am 5'8' tall and about 155 pounds. I usually buy a medium to large tshirt and size 12 in Misses. I kinda panicked that it might not be long enough so I ordered a XL hoping it would hang a bit longer. Well the length is amazing for my height and arms but through the body its just a tad big. But I'm keeping it and decided I'm gonna wash and dry it right now and see if it shrinks up a bit in width. Then I'll order another either L or XL based on the results. The empire waist is rather long on me...almost to my waist. I wish it was an inch or two higher but maybe the size smaller will do that for me. ... show more

I bought this dress just for photos, but it's made so nicely that I will be wearing it again! The material is soft and flowy and I love how it STAYS off the shoulder. I would definitely reommend for an event or every day. UPDATE: I just bought this in dark red too! Looooove this dress!!
