Last year I made the swap from EVOO to Avocado oil in an attempt to reduce my cholesterol intake. I still use EVOO but only vary sparingly for certain things. This avocado oil tastes and preforms the same as the brand that I usually buy at the organic foods store. If you haven't tried avocado oil before it is really neutral with no flavor and it's light. I personally like it in homemade salad dressings better than EVOO. I also like that it has a smoke point of around 500 F so it's great for things that are fried and finished in the oven. You can also use it to get a real good sear on meat since other oils would start smoking at between 350 and 400 F. It's a little more expensive than what I normally purchase at the organic foods store but I find that a lot of food items on amazon are a bit higher priced so this doesn't really bother me. If I saw this brand on my grocery shelf I would probably buy it.

Fresh avocados are ever-present in my kitchen, but I'd never tried avocado oil before. So far, I've only used it as the base of a lemony salad dressing, which I enjoyed. The consistency seems comparable to olive oil, but maybe lighter. The taste is neutral, pleasant without imparting much, if any, flavor. I look forward to experimenting with it as a substitute where I normally use olive oil, such as to brush baked eggplant, or canola oil, such as to saute chicken tenders. As this is also my introduction to the Corazon brand, I was thrilled to receive this 16.9-ounce bottle, stamped for a long shelf life, tightly bound in bubble wrap.

Ive made the shift from olive to avocado oil to have a health benefit that one gets from avocado. This oil has a mind taste and makes a wonderful salad dressing. I prefer to not use this for cooking as it is delicate and tastes so good. I drizzle on hummus too but mostly just use as a light dressing with some spices for flavor. Its just right in every way. Ive had a few brands and this one stands out as being tastier. Recommend!

Sometimes when you use oil there's a strong aroma or taste to it which may affect the food. This avocado oil doesn't have that problem which is great! You get great control for how much comes out of the bottle through the spout. It's a very clean looking oil. You can use it in cooking or for sauce or dips to make it a little more liquid and easier to eat, like hummus. I enjoy it very much.

Avocado oil is a staple in my pantry. I stopped using refined oils and only use mustard, avocado and olive oils in my daily cooking. I usually avoid deep frying but when I do I only use avocado oil because it has high smoke point. This bottle of avocado oil smells very fresh and tastes just as good. This is also perfect for use in dressing and enhances the flavor. I have used this in making curries, dips and deep frying and stir frying vegetables and it tastes very nice. Since this oil does not have any pungent smell, it can be used in all kind of cooking.
