You definitely need tempered glass protectors on devices with touch screens (as opposed to plastic film protectors) and amFilm makes the best and consumer friendliest protectors, in my opinion. I've been using them for years on my other game consoles (Switch 1 & Switch 1 OLED). Putting these on my Switch 2 was incredibly easy and having two in the pack saved me because I messed up my first application (entirely my fault, I forgot to rub the center in a vertical line FIRST and THEN work my way towards the left and right sides of the screen). The two screen protectors each come with a plastic alignment tool that fits over the Switch 2 screen and makes certain that you're not applying the screen protector crooked. The pack also comes with 2 wet wipes, 2 dust cloths, 2 small dust sticker sheets (x5 small stickers each IIRC), & 2 huge dust stickers that each cover the entire Switch 2 screen. I never had to worry about dust getting trapped with so many dust stickers included and it was easy to avoid bubbles as long as you rub down the center and work your way across to each side like I said before. My Switch 2 screen with the protector on it looks beautiful and I feel good not having to worry about scratches or dirt getting on it. I highly recommend amFilm, especially after they've once again made protecting my stuff so easy.

Works perfectly and you get two in the event some random piece of dust strolls around and messes up your installation process. Yes, that happened to me. I had to use the second screen protector to fix the issue. The kit puts the screen protector exactly and precisely on the screen. On the instructions it say to use your finger and press across from one side to the other side of the application screen housing. I would recommend doing it super slowly, while holding the Switch in the other hand and pressing firmly with your finger. The first time I did it, I didn’t put enough pressure and I also went slow, but not slow enough. It left two small bubbles and the adhesion process requires time to apply properly. Patience is key when installing it. Just some friendly advice.

I'm pretty impressed by how perfectly it fits! I've never gotten a screen protector on a screen with perfect accuracy before. Now I wish there was an applicator like this for literally every other screen. It even comes with a wet-wipe, dry wipe, and de-dusting sticker, too. There's video instructions that show each step, and how to get rid of any bubbles that show up when applying it. I did as the video showed and the small bubble that was there got pushed out. Just lift a corner until it gets to the bubble and let it gently drop back to place. Follow the instructions and this thing feels fool-proof to do. I'm terrible at photos, but it really does look legitimately perfect on my Switch.

I've used amfilm on my v1 Switch, Switch Lite, and Switch OLED. This is my first time with their new applicator and it makes the process a lot easier — not foolproof, and I was pretty scared of messing it up, but thankfully it's forgiving enough that I was able to readjust it. It comes with two sets of everything needed to install the screen protector, so you essentially get two goes. Much appreciated as it can be quite anxiety-inducing to install protectors! This was overall much easier than when I had installed amfilm on my old Switches without the applicator, but do read the instructions and try to line stuff up before you just smack it on there. Never had an issue with amfilm on my old Switches and while I haven't had to test it yet (knock on wood) I don't anticipate any issues. All my previous ones have held up well up till now. Hoping this one does too. 10/10!

The biggest tip I can share: take your time cleaning your screen! Make absolutely sure there is NO DUST before applying. I set up in a steamy bathroom, which really helped minimize airborne dust and made the process seamless. Once installed, the 9H tempered glass feels incredibly durable, and the screen remains crystal clear with no distortion. I never leave reviews, but I’m so happy with this. I wanted a protector with the foolproof frame to get it in the right spot because I don’t trust myself to eyeball it and line it up perfectly. The instructions were clear and it went on flawlessly with nearly no action needed from me. One tiny spot on the side that flattened down in one swipe; that is the best I’ve ever had a protector go on in many years of cell phones and handheld game systems. I’m happy it was a 2 pack to give peace of mind in case I screwed it up, though clearly that wasn’t needed. The price is still less for 2 than many are for just one. It seems to be a good quality screen protector, and there is literally nothing I would do to improve upon it. Value, ease of use, performance, just buy it!
