  • Good product, easy to apply
Size: 1 Gallon
Bought this for my aging RV camper. It was rated well, went on easy and did the job. Great price.

  • Great for pop-ups and gel coated campers!
Size: 1 Gallon
Used this on an older pop-up camper that has had a life. Most of the paint on the roof was down to the aluminum, and someone had done a home seal job with about 15 tubes of calk. Needing to do something a bit more legitimate, and give the camper some longevity, I decided to purchase this along with the removal of all prior sealing attempts. After cleaning off the old gook, and resealing seams we applied this over the course of a weekend in several coats. Here is what we found. A year later, its held up wonderfully- better than the paint that covered it, for sure. The coating goes on very thin. It will take several iterations before it becomes solid white and thick We used more than we thought. The lid to our small pop-up took about half a gallon to provide a reasonable coating. Dry times for us were much shorter than the 24h it recommends. This may have been due to low Colorado humidity, and that we did it in a controlled environment inside The coating takes pants and other things very well. After a full day of dry time, we were able to coat this with paint (Rustolium water based) and it adhered well and looks good. Time will tell on durability, but for now we are happy with the results. I would recommend this if you are looking for a paint like substance to seal imperfections on a roof. ... show more

  • Good product & value, but temperamental to put on.
Size: 1 Gallon
I used this on my camper roof. It's a smooth metal roof in good condition so I didn't want to cover the good roof surface if not needed. However, all the vents & railings, etc., were getting a little... tired? looking, around the screws & stanchions. So I cleaned and prepped the entire roof and all the items. Then taped off to only paint around the perimeter where the railings and vents and A/C are. (Basically, everywhere anywhere near screws.) Cutting in everything was done with a brush. The paint is much thinner and slipperier than I expected. Thought it would be more sticky & heavy. So it didn't cover easily. (had to use a soft brush to not pull to much off when applying. Rolled the rest and it had a tendency to not lay down very thickly. Also, a big problem, was that it bubbles a lot when rolled on. If you let it sit a few seconds (to tack up) as you move on, then go back and lightly roll over it to pop the bubbles and even it out, it gives a really nice even finish. Sadly, I had to do that 3 times to get enough thickness. In the end, it came out very nice. This stuff reeeeally sticks well (on almost anything including your hands). I saw quite a few people say it didn't cover as much as stated. But I found it covered quite a bit of surface and all 3 coats equaled about the amount they stated for coverage. (In my case, about 50 sq. ft. & 1/2 can.) ... show more

  • Excellent product, seal the crack, and restore my roof
Size: 4.6 Gallon (Pack of 1)
Excellent product! It makes my old flat roof shine again!! I feel like it will give my roof at least another 5~10 more years. Really worth the money. I even use it to cover my wood window frames. It seals the cracks very well.

  • Simply the best.
Size: 4.6 Gallon (Pack of 1)
Perhaps you could find equal among similar costing products, but for me this product is tried and true. Sure you could buy paint for one third the cost, but what do you get: a lot of water added. Or at half the cost: less good adhesion, less good stretch, less good mildew control. This is a labor intensive project, so do yourself a favor and buy the good stuff you will be so much happier later on. Its the same old logic: good paint pays for itself. To apply, get a bucket, a short and long pole, a good ladder, a paint roller holder, several 1.5" nap roller, old clothes, a weather forecast, no trees dropping leaves or blossoms nearby; dump about a gal on the cleaned up roof surface and spread with the roller. Sure it says water clean up, but throw the roller away, think about throwing away the bucket too. Under perfect conditions, I accidently got a little of this on the aluminum siding and tried to scrub it off with a wet paper towel five minutes later unsuccessfully, this stuff really dries quick and sticks good. It requires sunshine to activate, so make sure its a sunny day, you might even have to swap rollers if it dries on the roller during a long hot day. This is plastic paint, so expect to do at least two coats and repaint your roof every eight years to continue protection. Applied properly and enough, this will stop leaks, significantly cool your roof temperatures (the difference between applying the first and second coat is extremely big~you will be able to sit comfortably on your roof after applying this.), reduce wind damage (my neighbors have had two new roofs, while I am just recoating mine), delay getting a new roof indefinitely (until you get to the point of the material underneath the roof decays if it was already exposed to water damage). ... show more

  • Worth the money.
Size: 4.6 Gallon (Pack of 1)
I've used this product twice now. I'm pretty impressed. I have a 30 foot R. V. That i'm trying to keep cool enough for my dog to survive. If you put your hand on a roof from the old blackened rubber, it'll burn your skin. When I put my hand on the roof that was painted with the white stuff, it was literally cool to the touch. It says eighty eight percent refractivity, but I suspect it might even be higher. It's insanely bright, and I had to wear very dark sunglasses to even apply it. But that's good that's what you want. I think I mixed it well enough. But it does seem like you need to apply a good four or five coats, like some other review, suggested. I did the roof and now i'm gonna scrub all the sides of the r v. and literally paint the entire rv with it. That should reduce my strain on my solar panels to run my air conditioner. This time I'm going to use a sprayer as an experiment, partially because of the sheer square footage that this project will entail. I've looked at other products at ace hardware for instance, and I think you get a lot more for your money here. ... show more
