If you are careful and attentive following instructions the final product will turn out perfectly. Shipping is always an issue, and can lead to poor product reviews, I returned another bed frame from another company that we had to return, but this one showed up great.

Only received one box and waited 2 weeks for that, now I have to wait for them to contact me to get the other box or my refund. So many parts to this its just not worth it. I would rather spend another hundred dollars and just have someone come deliver it and put it up for me.

I am keeping the bed frame because I needed it to be able to have someplace to sleep. However, (1) The assembly instructions were very poor, not written at all. Only pictures that had had to be carefully studied to assemble correctly. Some portions of the instructions had incorrect or misleading graphics. (2) The assembly time of "1 hour" is completely false. I had two helpers, and it still took 10 hours! I am experienced assembler, having spent several years assembling kit products for families and businesses. I have assembled room sized shelving systems, closet systems, computer systems, office systems, in less time! I am not faulting the product for its engineering and build. It is a solid product that has practical engineering designed into it. But the downfall is the packaging and presentation of assembly. There were damaged pieces. The three wood pieces that were damaged resulted from shipping and were salvageable with a minor amount of work. But I am also a craftsman with 50 plus years of experience. None of the metal parts were damaged. (3 There were no directions as to what tools were needed or included. When we final discovered the little set of hex wrenches, I had already gotten mine out. (4) The lighting strip itself (not the lighting control unit) proved to be the total failure. As I removed the protective adhesive backing strip, the adhesive (which was excessive and sticky all over as if it had melted from under the backing strip) would not release the backing tape and caused the light strip to snap apart into 5 separate pieces rendering the light strip itself as inoperable. The control unit worked when I initially tested the strip. Needless to say, I wasn't going to attempt to repackage the nearly 400 pounds of parts and reship it back since I had already disassembled my old bedframe unit. I would not advise anyone to purchase this unit unless you're paying a professional assembler to build it. I have contacted the seller about the light kit through Amazon because there is no HELP phone number or videos to reference. I am also researching my own LED light strip solution as well.

We liked the style and layout of the bed, but I was skeptical on purchasing due to the low number of reviews to gauge the quality of the bed. We took a chance and purchased the bed, it came a couple days earlier than expected and assembly wasn't too bad. There's a lot of pieces and hardware and it took me about two hours to assemble. The parts were all numbered well and the instruction were pretty decent, so it wasn't to hard to follow along. After a few days of using it, so far we are pleased with the bed frame. My only complaint would be, I wish the LED light strip came with a diffuser to knockdown the harshness of the lights and that they could be Google or Alexa controlled. Other than that, the bed frame is pretty great for the price.
