I bought two of these for my kids rooms. I wanted something that would last a couple years and this definitely will do the trick. Some of the finishing left a little to be desired, the dowels are not sized for the pre drilled holes. I used A LOT of wood glue on this thing. The connector cams that come with these are very brittle, if I would do it again I would have went to the hardware store and bought some better ones. Two broke on each unit when I wasn’t even tightening down very much. One unit was shipped without any hardware but I contacted the company and they shipped one out within a couple of days no problem. Left a voicemail for them and they called me right back, great service there. Standard bins are shown in the photo; they protrude a bit, but that’s okay. Would recommend! ... show more

Very nice and compact yet full of space for craft items. I did put this together myself but with many many cuss words. Get help. I gave it 4 stars because the back of the tallest part of the shelf unit has these thin backing boards that have to be screwed in but the holes are useless as they don't line up to most of the rear of the shelf unit. This was the last step and made an already discouraging process even more discouraging. Other than that, this thing gets thrown in with the house when I sell. Lol. ... show more

Okay, so this desk is smaller than it looks in the photo which was great for me considering I was worried it would take up a lot of room. It was damaged upon arrival, I am pretty sure it was from the shipping because there was even a hole in the box. I put it together and the hole is on the top of the shelf itself, so I just let it go. 1st. Easy to assemble. Um no, this is easy to assemble when you have the correct pieces. They labeled all the pieces correctly, but they gave me two E pieces instead of a D and E piece. Of course on the directions they say to make sure you have all the correct pieces. I did not because I wanted to build and get it off my floor. So if you buy, do check your pieces. 2. For small spaces. I would diffidently say the small look of it surprised me because it is in fact smaller looking and just looks really good in my room. I have a small upstairs room so it is pretty nice. I cant give it full five stars because the shelf part sticks out on the outside of the desk so its nearly impossible for it to sit flush against the wall. 3. Sturdiness. The sturdiness isn't that bad after you get the panels on. Like it feels pretty much like even stitch couldnt take it down...however I have not put anything on it yet cause I just built it last night. So far so good. If you have questions about what it can hold I can always add to this comment later after some time, and I am sure I will on my own depending on how bad it goes lol. Other than that it isn't bad, but it could be improved further down the road. Oh and I got the white one. Any question please pop a comment on this comment. I hope this helps. ... show more

I purchased this to use as a crafting/sewing desk. I was a little nervous given the terrible reviews but thought it was a good enough price to try it out and I can say I’m not disappointed. This isn’t made as some high end desk but works great. It’s correct you’ll need more wood glue but the instructions included as extremely easy to follow and did not require 2 people. My only complaint is that I thought I could buy storage bins to place in the cubby slots but they are a slightly different dimension to there’s a small gap at the top and they do hang over a bit. ... show more

Definitely difficult to assemble alone, had issues with pre- drilled holes in wrong locations and not matching the diagram therefore we had to turn the outside cube to where it opens on inside. We used our own tools to make the rest work. Product is sturdy and nice once assembled but seems to have some quality control issues. ... show more

Several marks on various pieces Easy assembly Wood pieces wouldn’t stay even after applying the wood glue provided and allowing dry time. I don’t know if they’re the correct size Debating on keeping this though just for personal reasons
