I put this together by myself in about 45 minutes. It was easy, with easy to follow instructions. I like that it uses a cam lock system instead of a bunch of different screws. My last table the kids literally took all the screws out. This is a better option. The table feels sturdy and I love the colors. I got it on sale on prime day for $80. ... show more

If you’re ordering this you should know it’s not a solid wood, high quality “luxury” piece of furniture. It’s your typical Amazon furniture with those screw fasteners and wood dowels. That being said, for this price range and quality range of coffee tables this one is excellent. Some of the screw holes weren’t lined up great and there are small things that I notice, but no else will notice those things and overall it looks great ... show more

It's a good, not great table for the price. It's cheap and quickly assembled. The locking cam mechanisms that hold it all together do not stay tight long and back themselves off a bit over a short time, making it a little shaky. I added pocket screw joints all the way around to firm it up. I purchased one for a Pandora gaming table project, to add an LCD under the top with controls mounted in. The "wood" pattern veneer is paper on the top. I used painter's tape tape on it for guide markings and it ripped the paper. Not very durable at all for my project, so I covered it with a laminate flooring. I guess my point here is just that it's not super durable or showy, but if you go in to it expecting it to be what it is, you'll be happy enough with it for the price. It is exactly 35.5" square. The wood pieces are about 5/8" thick, some chip wood (faux wood top) and some painted hardboard (everything else). It is very dense and heavy due to these materials. ... show more

This is a beautiful table & exactly what I wanted but for some reason I thought there would fewer pieces to put together. I thought there would be a top, bottom shelf & legs. There are actually over 20 pieces. Not a problem but something to be aware of. Also uses cam locks. Instructions are good & easy to follow. Great table made of real wood with a beautiful finish at a reasonable price that compliments any room. Take your time assembling, read the instructions carefully. All you need is a phillips and flathead screwdriver. The instructions recommend hammer but that wasn’t necessary. Assembly took me about 90 minutes and that’s because there are a lot of screws and I always over ensure myself they are fully tightened. Hope you enjoy this table as much as I do!!! ... show more

I LOVE THIS COFFEE TABLE. Initially I wanted a lift top coffee table and had been looking for quite some time. Then one day I was scrolling on Facebook marketplace and saw a rectangular table similar to this one so I started looking on Amazon again but this time for a square table. I'm a 29 year old single mama who put this thing together with just a screwdriver! It says you need a hammer for the dowels but I didn't. The instructions are legible and easy to understand. I move the table around alot, closer or further from the sofa, depending what we are using it for, i.e. eating, games, crafts, etc. I love it. Buy it. You won't be disappointed. The only con is the holes for the screws that go with the cam locks aren't wide enough at the opening so it kept slipping. So I just took the philips screw driver in each of the holes and just turned it a couple times to loosen it up. Oh and the first layer does chip I've noticed when screwing things in but for me it did not affect the durability of the table. ... show more

This coffee table was super easy to put together. It took about 15-20 mins to put it together. Overall, it looks nice. The only issue I have with the product is the damaged pieces as shown in the pictures. I decided to just use a black sharpie to cover the spots up instead of trying to see if the manufacturer would send new pieces. Once I covered the spots with the black sharpie, they were not as noticable. Hopefully it will hold up overtime. ... show more
