The dark purple color is so dark it is nearly black. It is not the same color as pictured. Other than that is is very soft.

I bought 3 of these for Christmas gifts. When people say it is soft, they mean that the inside has the exact same soft feel as the outside. The inside is furry and soft too. Also, the oversized shoe laces to cinch the hood are truly adorable on my thin granddaughter. I just ordered one for myself so we will see whether I look like the lady on the commercial buying extra large jewelry, etc., thinking it hid her size. If so, I will just pull that out. Item arrived in 2 days. Vacuum sealed bag. This hoodie is sooo cozy. I ordered a xxl based on reviews but definitely could have just order the xl and it would have been fine. I’d say runs TTS.
