The Good: Style Graphics Very well made Nice interior (has alternating rebel and imperial symbols as the pattern) Gets tons of attention everywhere you take it! These Star Wars bags will garner you attention wherever you take them. I heard everything from "Bad A^# bags!" to "Coolest bags ever!". The latter was from one of the stewards on the cruise ship who hopped on his walkie-talkie letting all the other stewards know we were coming their way and to check out the Star Wars bags. I was stopped over and over again by individuals wanting to know where I purchased them. If you are the shy type that does not like attention, then these are not the bags you are looking for! However, I doubt anyone seriously considering these as a purchase is afraid of a little attention. The Darth Vader carry-on, along with the 28 inch Stormtrooper bag, were the perfect combo for all my needs while on our cruise. Both bags offered an adequate amount of storage and held up well given the rigors of my vacation (i.e. baggage handlers). I did notice a couple scuff marks on my larger bag when we made it back home, BUT that is to be expected. All things considered I feel the bag was fairly resilent to the abuse it endured during the baggage handling process. The wheels on both bags performed flawlessly as did the overall design. The handle ergonomics is nice and I never felt as though it is oddly placed or inconvenient to use. I will say the handle on the carry-on seems a bit flimsy and I question if it will stand the test of time, but we shall see. Overall worth the money and I would buy them again in a heartbeat. It is very rare that form and function go hand-in-hand, but in regards to the American Tourister Star Wars bags it rings true. Hit "Add To Cart" as fast as you can you will thank me later!

I bought this for my 11 year daughter before we went on vacation. It fit everything she needed for our week-long trip, and there was even room for more! She absolutely loves her R2-D2 suitcase, received several compliments while rolling this through the airport, and it fits the carry-on requirements and it was easy to place in the overhead storage on the plane. This is a hard-sided suitcase, and has a really neat texture. It opens like a clam shell, there's no zipping off the top flap and digging in to find something. You will need to set the suitcase on a flat surface to open it. I have no problem with that, as I've been using hard-sided suitcases for a while. But, if you're making the move from a soft-sided to hard-sided, this may be a different experience than you're used to. The suitcase is very well made, the spinner wheels work very well. The handle has two positions, half up, and full up. The zipper pulls have the rebel logo on them for an added touch. And, the suitcase came with a Star Wars luggage tag, as well. The inside has a nice rebel design blue, soft lining. The inside of the suitcase has plenty of compartments to keep your things organized. There are two main compartments on the inside, one side has elastic straps to secure belongings, the other side has a zippered panel to keep things on that side. There is also a zippered pocket on that panel, and another zippered pocket on the other side. I am tempted to buy the larger suitcases to go with these, but I'm not sure we need them. But, they're so awesome!

This is a great bag, the adults in our family now use it for travel! It’s adorable, and sturdy. The wheels move great. It expands, if needed. Only the top part expands, kind of like a triangle. But it gives good extra room. Half of it has a zippered area, the other half has elastic snaps to hold everything in place. I wish it has a large mesh zippered area like other bags. But we compromised by using our own zippered bags inside of it. It’s already been on 2 trips in the short time we’ve owned it. It made it thru baggage claim in good condition. I hope it continues to look good. Baggage claim is hard on bags and this seems to do well. We like to use it also because people are less likely to take a kids bag. Kids don’t carry anything valuable. So hopefully this will help…: not that we carry valuables in our bags. We just don’t want to hassle with a lost or stolen bag.

I bought R2D2 version in 2017 summer. We use it every year for domestic or international travel. It is still in very good condition, looks almost like new. My son is 14 now, and still loves it. The spinning wheels are very smooth and sturdy. I feel it will last forever.

I had this delivered to our resort after the one we were using got destroyed in transit. It went through 2 countries with us and was perfect for carry on. I'm impressed with how much I can stuff into it!. I filled it so well, that I had to get help lifting it into overhead storage in the plane !

I hate flying, but I love window seats. I'm also good at upgrades, so I often get on nice and early and watch the luggage handlers load the plane before we take off. I've seen my luggage thrown, kicked, shoved and disrespected so many times that I avoid checking bags at this point. But earlier this year I had a work trip that lasted a week and there was no way I could fit everything into a carry on. So I bought the 28" R2 and hoped for the best. First: I got compliments literally every place I went. All 4 of my Uber drivers, the hotel staff, the airline folks checking me in (both directions) and several folks I encountered in the hotel lobby all complimented my luggage. It definitely stands out. It's good and sturdy, as well. Yes, the threads inside are a little janky, but it's a small price to pay for such a stellar and functional conversation piece. But what really blew me away was watching the "throwers" loading my luggage into the plane. Because guess what? There was no throwing! There was no kicking, shoving or tossing either! The baggage handlers took one look at R2 and then *placed* him gently where he needed to go. Luggage with a personality definitely has its benefits. The 28" R2 didn't exactly save my life. But we've only gone on one trip together, so who knows what's to come?

As users have posted their pictures,it is gorgeous but even more in person. It came in a big box and I was so excited in opening it! Taking it out was a lil challenging but it had me on my toes! Being 5' 1" and a half inches, I am just the right height to not be over taken by the height,but it makes me look cool. I loved hugging it over and over, and I can't wait to take it on my cruise to my friend's wedding. (Child at heart definitely) Lots of space,just watch the weight, I'm in the process of buying a scale because all the reviews suggest it. I can't comment on the weight of it as of yet but I will let you know my opinion later. :) The thing I really didn't like was seeing that the bag says free shipping and then I was charged the shipping...about $7...glad I had that extra money on my green dot...as soon as things didn't add up I contacted amazon immediately about my concern and they refunded it in roughly 2 days but really that's the only reason why I put 4 stars so this comment would stand out to help others with payment. American Tourister is awesome too in that they always give you a warranty you can rely on...this is not my first purchase of their product. Note: Buying this product doesn't make you immature based on what your occupation is in life..however with that being said it may cause you to suddenly flash back to your childhood and make you act like a kid again. Thank me by buying this merchandise. :D PS: I bought R2D2 even though he is the lesser price he was my favorite of all because the shape of the luggage went with his shape,making it look like you are actually pulling him,added bonus. Short version for speedy (get to the point) readers: Pros: *Will probably get you a lot of attention,it's adorable and fun. *The space is good, could fit a lot of stuff in this. *It has a hard side Star Wars luggage tag,looks very durable. It also opens and closes,you don't have to use a marker to write on it either. *The handle is sturdy. *The design is of the highest quality and worthy of being an American Tourister for Star Wars. Clean lines and shiny finish. <3 *The bigger the better. *Although it may not fit carry on requirements, you will make a statement as soon as you get to where you are going. *It is cheaper here than buying it from Macy's or American Tourister themselves. Cons: *Watch your credit card for unwanted shipping fee,they charged me about $7 in the dark during the purchase but they refunded me quickly.Also the main reason I gave this 4 stars... If you're on the fence about this: buy it. This is a really great piece of luggage. We purchased this for our 5 year old son (who is obsessed with all things Star Wars) before his first plane trip, figuring if nothing else it would be a great novelty item, and just be fun for his plane trips as a kid. We were hugely surprised when we received the bag, and found it to be very high quality and well made - like, WAY nicer than we thought it would be, and honestly probably too nice for a 5 year old (lucky him). It's not a novelty item at all, but rather an actually really decent piece of luggage that just happens to be Star Wars. Great spinner wheels, strong handle, exterior that can definitely hold up to some abuse, spacious interior with quality fabrics... this is a great carry-on for travelers and fans of SW of any age, and should last for several years!
