American Standard 7061821.243 Aspirations Widespread Pull-Down Bathroom Faucet, 1.2 GPM, Matte Black I haven't installed a new faucet in a while, but this was one of the easiest faucets I've ever installed. The two handles come with water lines already connected, so you don't need to try to reach up underneath the countertop to connect them later. Even better, the lines running from the handles to the main faucet just snap together, ensuring an easy but leakproof connection. The pull down faucet head is very useful for cleaning up the sink, as you can direct the water exactly where it's needed. It retracts into the main body by a weight pulling on the water line, which works quite well. It's solidly built and leaves an impression of quality. And to top it off, it's simply beautiful. My husband installed this widespread faucet from American Standard in a rental condo we own. It is the “Aspirations” faucet with a pull-down sprayer in chrome. He said it felt sturdy, solid and the type of faucet you expect to get from American Standard. He said it was fairly easy to install and did not have any real issues with the installation instructions. Instructions are clearly written. He said the hardest part was taking the old faucet off because of corrosion. The renters love their new faucet. They like the new shiny chrome finish. They like the modern, clean design. They like the easy-to-use pop-up drain plug (the old one did not work very well.) They love the pull-out feature because it makes cleaning the sink and washing stuff down a lot easier. They like that the faucet has a high profile (the old one was fairly low.) Overall, husband happy with install and renters are happy with better working and better-looking faucet. ... show more

I really love this American Standard Pull-Down Bathroom Faucet. The main part of the faucet swivels almost 180 degrees, and with the sprayer, rinsing out the sink is a breeze. I am not naive enough to think that my husband will clean the little beard hairs out after a shave, but at least I can just rinse them down the drain now. I started to install this myself as I have done them myself before and have the big wrench to do it (which I only needed for the removal), but removing the old fixture took more strength than I have so it turned into a duet. The finish on this is very nice. The handles and faucet are weighty and are clearly good quality. So much nicer than my sink that I really feel I need to replace it now. I highly recommend this well thought out, functional, and attractive faucet. Now time to pick up the accessories! ... show more

I love American Standard's "Aspirations" line of faucets. This is their best style, if you like a modern look and feel. As with all their faucets, the actual function and build quality is stellar. The pull-down faucet is something you'd think you wouldn't use much, but it's very useful when you need it. And it visually disappears when not in use, which is very nice. American Standard fixtures have always been known for their high quality and this faucet is no exception. Very well made and once you have this sprayer at your bathroom sink you will never be able to go back to a plain old bathroom faucet ever again. Straightforward installation and beautiful fit and finish. The fixture I replaced was also matte black from a cheap, no-name brand and the finish on the pop up drain had started to peel off and look awful. I have a feeling I won't have an issue with this one doing that, at least, I hope not! ... show more

This is a striking faucet in person. It's solidly constructed and easy to install. The hardest part was removing the existing faucet, as getting under the sink is never fun. Once installed, everything works well. It's great to have the flexibility to rotate the faucet and being able to extend the nozzle is just as useful in the bathroom as the kitchen. You activate the spray feature simply by twisting the end of the nozzle - one click switches it to spray and a second click goes back to a regular stream. This is a very good quality faucet. It is as described and pictured. It takes a little to install but I love the pull-down feature. It's super sleek and luxurious looking. The price point is a little high and maybe they should offer a coupon, but I would definitely recommend for any home, office, personal or professional use. I didn't read the description as well as I should have. For some reason I thought this faucet was for a kitchen but it is for a bathroom. I just saw "American Standard" and I grabbed it. I almost kept it but I ended up asking my cousin who was updating one of her rentals if she could use it. They took it right away. It is American Standard after all. They love the look of it. It is a simple clean design so it doesn't clash with anything. The pull down faucet is also really convenient. She almost wishes she had used it for her own home rather than for the rental.
