Totally disappointed in the product and the company. Sign my daughter up for basic beginner skating classes ( no jumps just how to skate forward and backwards turn and stop. She goes 3x a week for 40 mins. Had skate for 6 weeks. Skated a total of 12 hours and the heel of the boot started to come off not even on on skate but on both. Called company. I mean hello serious defect that can cause a major injury. The woman was total unconcerned with what was wrong advise me to return them from where I purchased them. Did not asked if my child was injured did not assure me that the skates are good and this is very rare nothing. Just return them. Amazon was more concerned then the company. They replace the skates. I hope that it does not happen again. Totally disappointed my daughter loved them until they fell apart. ... show more

My granddaughter loves these skates! Her eyes sparkled when she opened this gift! She said that they fit perfect and loved the heel design and color! She has not used them yet, unfortunately, her mom took her snowboarding and she broke a bone in her foot. As soon as the bone heals, she can not wait to go skating with these lovely and comfortable skates. She is hoping that we will still have ice so that she can use these beautiful skates! These skates are really pretty and are so comfy! I had been useing skates that I got in high school so have been using the same skates for about 15 years, new ones felt amazing on the ice! I usually wear a size 7 1/2 and since they come in whole sizes I opted for an 8 because I didn't want a 7 to be too small. They are a touch too big in the toes but not so much that they feel weird. I ordered these and one other pair to decide which would be best for my teen daughter. While we both love the look of these skates, I ultimately went with the other pair based on comfort. If you have a narrow foot and/or are used to wearing ice skates, they may be completely comfortable for you. These were a little large. I wear a 9 1/2, but based on the reviews saying they were large, I ordered a 9, and they're perfect. I also knew that they did not come sharpened, so I was prepared for that as well. My kids take figure skating lessons, and I wanted a cheap pair so I could occasionally skate with them. Great price for good skates. I have waited to review these skates until we have had them for a couple months after people's reviews saying they fall apart. We have not had any problems with them falling apart. They have held up perfectly. No complaints about these skates. They fit how we expected.
