I bought these jeans in four different colors to get better insight and do an insightful review for those of you who are curious, interested or conflicted on purchasing or not. Considering everyone else’s experience and mine as well, I believe these jeans will only look their best on taller females. 5’7 and up for them to live up to their full potential. These are not jeans that will flatter every body type because they are not stretchy nor shape forming to every curve. These jeans fit the needs to a specific category, not all. But with that being said my personal experience was great! I have long legs, so the length is appreciated as well as the high waisted portion of the jeans. They do fit a bit loose at the waist and just right at my hips/thighs. I’m 5’7 and roughly around 135 pounds. I am usually a size 4 (27) but had ordered a size 28 instead. I recommend ordering a size up and possibly adjusting the waist line with maybe an elastic on the inside, but that’s personal preference. I love the sturdy jean material and would definitely repurchase in the future! Hope this review answers some of the questions consumers like myself may have! Remember that some girls need clothing to fit a certain category and other girls enjoy a wide range of flexibility. Every body is beautiful in it’s very own unique way!

Did not fit! The size runs very small. I measured before making my purchase and still the fit of the jeans are not accurate at all. They cinch you in but it’s very uncomfortable and digs into your skin. I love the style and the denim is super thick, like very heavyweight workwear type of material. You can’t sit down comfortably in them.

Came with a hole near the crotch of the pants. When I went to touch it, bits of the fabric simply disintegrated off the pant. I also had to size up multiple times as they are at least two sizes smaller than what they actually claim to be. It’s disappointing because they’re cute and great for my long legs. I’m 6’0 and good length is hard to come by, but I don’t trust getting another pair based off this quality.

For reference: I am a bit over 5'8, long in the legs and in the torso, and usually wear between a 27 or 28 in Levi's high rise styles, or a 4 in most other brands. I have straight proportions and not much of an ass. I bought these in a 28/32. They are slightly more snug than the Levi's sky highs I recently bought in 28 (I wish I'd gone with 27 in those), but also zero stretch so...that slight difference means that until they've broken in some, sitting down is going to be uncomfortable. This is fine though, and expected. I wanted real denim that would wear in the my exact shape. The medium blue wash is even and not too bright, with no fake whiskering or faded thighs. Again, the perfect starting point for future well-worn denim. My only real concern is that the rise is a little short for my long torso, so the crotch is a bit close. Only a bit tho - not camel toe close, so I'm hopeful that will improve with wear also. Length is great. A little long, even. Thank goodness. I'm tired of rocking every regular pair of jeans I get as "ankle" jeans. These are the perfect length for a casual cuff. Plus they're quite tapered, yay! Lastly, these jeans deserve praise for having standard back pockets. So many women's jeans have sized-down pockets at weird angles or spaced too close together. These are just....regular. Like a pair of Wranglers. The front pockets however are super shallow. I'll be sewing in new lining to make em deeper.

Wonderful thick denim with an amazing 12-13” rise. I’m 5’5” tall with a 24” waist, 32” hip, and long torso. The rise of these jeans is perfect on me, but the size 24 was too small for comfort and I doubted they’d stretch out enough over time. The medium wash runs slightly larger than the light wash, and the black jean was tightest of the three washes I purchased. These pants are ridiculously long. They’d fit great on someone closer to 6 foot. I repurchased in size 25. I plan to cut the jeans shorter by about 3-5inches on each leg and roll the hem up once or twice.

first of all i bought high-waisted jeans from american apparel in size 28. I bought this jeans same day i receive tried it was small and couldn't button size28. mind you i paid 37.00 for the jeans i went back its 78.00 within same week of ordering. why should i pay more just to exchange different size , for same style to get a size or 2 up just for it to fit. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. this is price gouging. These companies taking advantage of people because of the world wide panic. I guess they did me a favour . Im going to keep my money in my wallet. Other reviews are right it’s not like old. American apparel. I have highwaisted jeans shorts in 28 and fit so good to my curves although I’m slim. These jeans are bulging Zipper area in the front, loose at waist but fit in the legs perfect. I’m really confused about sizing. I tried 28, 29 , 30 sized. 30 too big and 29 fit except problem above. I compared my older jeans and realize that jeans are no longer made in USA but now in Mexico. And I’ve notice w most jeans made in Mexico tend to be boxy or square like in shape that could explain the fit. They are making base on shape of locals. Because old shape was tailored to American fit . I just returned looked horrible. I’m 5,9 curvy but slim side

These are my absolute favorite jeans. They are great quality and super durable. I keep having to get new pairs as I get bigger from having a baby and they are always true to size. I love that you can get long sizes.
