I want to try snowshoeing this winter and these seem like a good price point to start. I have not tried them yet (As of Nov 1, 2021). The bag arrived with some damage from the cleats. The red color on the shoes looks more of a fuschia than the red on the poles. I'm not sure how the hinge mechanism will hold up. It's just a plastic band twisting. We don't have chance to try in snow yet. However, the poles are super light and sturdy, very helpful during hiking. So it's used in all seasons not just in winter.

This is the second time I bought snowshoes. Our family likes skiing, but because me and my husband are over 50 , Now we are taking children to go skiing. We will use snowshoes to walk, so that the whole family is happy.

The quality of these snowshoes seems good, sturdy, and lightweight. It's easy to carry with the included bag. There are some plastic materials I am not sure how long they can last. So far so good.

For many years I have hated winter and snow. I moved to New England and wasn't prepared for the winter. This is a fun sport that enables me to explore the winter wonderland. I needed a winter sport. I'm a kayaker most of the year. These snow shoes make winter livable. They get on and off easily. They distribute my weight evenly so I stay on, not in, the snow. They come in a handy travel bag with room for extra equipment. Speaking of which, order from Amazon a pair of gaiters to keep the snow out of your shoes/boots. There's a trail near my house and it is ideal for snowshoeing. The poles make it even easier to stay balanced. The snowshoes are a nice size for someone who is 6 feet tall like me. They are made with real aluminum versus some other brands that have a metal look but are really made of plastic. These are great, and include the poles. I didn't realize that when I ordered them so it was a great surprise. Both are well made and come with a nice carrying bag. I do wish I would've ordered the 25, instead of the 27. My husband is super happy with the 27, but I cannot use them, they are too big.
