The quality is not bad, but there is too much play between the base plate and the piece that holds the drill so on the way down you get more of a gentle arc than a zero degree trajectory.

Everything was loose when I got it. After snugging everything up it works great. My rotary barely fits in it but it fits and is held very firmly. The big advantage this one has over most of the others is its all metal, mostly cast iron with brass gibs. Many others are 70% plastic and have a lot of flex in them.

This is a very helpful drill press, you can put any existing hand drill in this press and use it to create pocket holes. This is very easy to use, great for beginners like myself. I thought I would try my hand at fixing up furniture that I thrift. Replacing old legs or creating legs on older furniture seems to be the trend now, and this really helps out. The price is right and the quality is high

This press could have been really nice but the hole to put the drill in is incredibly small, none of my drills, including my “baby” drill fits it. I don’t know what kind of a drill would end up fitting in it. Very disappointed in it.
