Must be the Celtic blood, but I just love the look of a bulky, outdoorsy looking sweater and this Fisherman Cardigan Sweater by Amazon Essentials x Sophia Grainge fits the bill. Now that it's here I have to say that I'm surprised by the weight of it, it is heavier than I thought it would be, and that is a good thing! Even though it's a really excellent weight, it doesn't feel too bulky or constricting. It is made from 100% cotton, so is going to have good breathability as well while keeping the little one warm. One of the first tests I do with buttons is to see if I can open and close them with one hand - I even tried this with my left hand though I'm right handed. And the conclusion is, excellent sturdy buttons and the buttonholes are large enough to easily accommodate them without trouble! There is ribbing at the neck bottom hem and sleeves and it's all done very nicely, very attractive and has good stretch. Overall the construction is just beautiful, I cannot find a crooked seam or yarn out of place anywhere. I just love the design of this sweater also, it can literally go from being worn with jeans to being paired with Dockers and a button-down shirt for pictures. Currently it is selling for $24.90, and given the quality of it that is a very nice value.

Sophia really knocked it out of the park with this sweater! It's so adorable, and very well made. I ordered it in 3T for my 3yo daughter, and it fits her perfectly with a little room to grow. It washed amazingly well, and didn't show any signs of pilling or the color fading out. It is a beautiful muted pink color, which will match perfectly with her winter wardrobe. The material has a nice thickness to it as well - not too heavy, and will keep her perfectly warm during the chilly winter months. I love the detailing on the sweater and the buttons are really cute and feminine. She loves wearing it and doesn't find it scratchy or uncomfortable. It's a great value for the price and we couldn't be happier with it! Great job Sophia - you've definitely earned a new customer!
