Plum and blue colors seem true to what I see on my computer screen. Plum is really pretty. Blue is rather bright. Brand new, there is quite a sheen on the fabric. I washed the Blue pair. The sheen disappeared, so it is now a flat color. I prefer the flat color anyway. I really like that they have two back pockets. Why do so many of these pant designs have no or just one back pocket even when they have plenty of front and side pockets? These also have the equal side pockets on each side. No discrimination against left handers, like most designs seem to do. All the pockets are also generously sized on these pants. The slash front pockets extend horizontally almost to the front seam. The entry is 5 1/2 inches. They are 9 1/4" deep. The back pockets are 5" wide by 5 1/4" deep at the bottom corners. The larger side pocket is 7" wide by 7" deep. The smaller pocket on top of it is 4 1/2" deep. It's 7" width is divided vertically at an angle. The resulting outer/further back pocket is 3" at the top and 1 1/4 at the bottom, resulting in the forward pocket being 4 1/4" at the top and 5 1/8" at the bottom. That kind of odd dividing stitching could easily be removed if desired. I initially ordered the Large because that is what has been fitting me in other brands and where my measurements fit into the size chart. Those were the Plum color. That large is much too big in the waist and hips for me. Way too much extra fabric folding in front as I had to cinch up the tie because the unstretched waist is also too big. With the large a no-go, I ordered the Blue and Plum in medium size. The Blue medium is just a bit shorter to the crotch than the Plum medium and the top of the legs just slightly tighter. They are all made in the same country (Indonesia) so it might just be one seamstress sews a bit different than another. Looking at the size chart at waist and hip sizes, you will see there is 1.5 inches between the higher number for medium and the lower number for large. Apparently I actually fit at the top of Medium or in the gap even though the size chart puts me in large. Based on my experience, unless you are near the top of a size range in the chart, go down a size. The inseam lengths listed match the actual measurement of the pants I received. The inseam length, at least for the larger sizes, is a bit short compared to many pants. The size chart lists short and long sizes, but I've found no evidence those exist. All three pairs I received appeared to be stitched well. I haven't actually worn the ones I kept to do anything yet, so I can't speak to durability.

I can appreciate these being great for work. The are thick. I do not however like how stiff the fabric is and the sizing is WAYYYYYY off. These are far too big for me, they run larger than what the size recommended. I found the fabric to also be itchy and I am very sensitive to fabric. Sadly, I will return because of fit and the texture of the fabric I do not like, but I know these will possibly be the perfect pants for someone else. The quality seems great, they should last a long time. Especially in healthcare. If you are not bothered by fabric sensitivities, these will be some great pants at a great price.

Cotton blend bottom,thicker fabric. Has enough sturdiness in the waistband and enough elasticity for comfort.Not see through. The sizing is consistent with most brands.
