This dress fits the bill for anytime you’re looking for a comfortable, black dress. It has a very flattering, feminine cut which will complement many different body types. I’ve started wearing around the house and to run errands. The fabric is not see through, and it is very soft and breathable. As with anything, there are some negatives. The neckline is a lot lower than what I prefer. I may go with a smaller size next as I’m not very top-heavy which means that there is a lot of fabric in the bust. The material also feels delicate and I don’t think it will stand up to many washes.

I currently have this in black and burgandy and I will be buying it in navy. And i'm watching the site to see if more colors are added. (I'm not fond of the floral pattern or I would get it as well). Super comfortable dress, easy to dress up for work with a cardigan and flats but I will be easily able to wear this in the summer with strappy sandals and it will be a great casual dress. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is the way the arms are cut, it dips low on the sides and you can see my bra so I have to wear a cami under it. But, for work I would wear a cami for modesty issues (i am seated low and customers stand above me) so it's only an issue for casual wear. I'm hoping for more colors. Jewel tones, pastels, a great fuchsia would all be lovely.

Needed a navy dress for some family beach pictures. This was extremely comfortable and flattering on my current build. We've been losing weight on our keto diet and this dress is something that will work as I size down for awhile. I have a pear shape and the most unflattering part currently is my stomach fat. My bottom half is plus size while the top isn't. This dress comes in just under your bust and falls beautifully to hide all imperfections while smoothing. It's so comfortable and could be dressed up or down. Love it. I did purchase the navy and had no issues with it being sheer. I bought the 1x.

This is a lovely dress to add to the basics section of any wardrobe. The fabric weight is sufficient to drape nicely and there is enough "cross over" in the bodice to prevent awkward gaping when you move around. Fit is actually true to size. I'm an 18/20 and the 2X works well.

Is it the print? I don't know, but I get compliments from family members and strangers. (I purchased the blue and green print.) The fabric is really good quality and comfortable. I wore it during this crazy heatwave this summer and stayed very cool. It does not cling either as the fabric is mid-weight. Our winters are very mild, so this will be a four seasons dress. The cut itself is large and will accommodate large shoulders and bust. If you are narrow, please keep this in mind. I probably could have gone down a size and still have this work. One thing to watch is washing. My sense is the print will lose intensity and crispness. I plan to wash in a laundry bag and dry on extra-low or air. Oh yes, I'm 5'4" and this is a real ankle grazer. I wouldn't mind an inch or two shorter.

This was my first purchase of Amazon brand clothing. I haven't worn it yet, but I tried it on and it seemed to fit well. It was nice and draped well and didn't seem to cling. I am 5'10" and it hit slightly above my ankles. Perfect length for me. I love the green/navy combination.

The color is a deep wine. Fit a bit loose but was so comfortable. I went to Joanns and purchased some rose gold sequined trim. Used it as a decorative belt as I couldn't find the exact ribbon I was hoping for. Really dressed it up and was married in it.
