Let me start by saying I've lost about 67 pounds over this past year.. I don't have a lot of jeans that actually fit well... I'm 5 foot 3 have athletic build with a smaller waist and adecent bottom. I'm 58 yrs young and I don't want to frumpy .. I have very short legs... I was in a 12 and moving into a 14 before I started making changes.. so it's been hard to get my size correct since losing the weight. Being honest here by saying it seems ever size chart especially Amazon Essentials is completely off. It started with me ordering the fleece sweaatpants and every size the chart advised me to purchase was to big....I mean WAY TO BIG.. .. so I started with a large in those and then ended up going thru ever size before finally getting an X small... (just a little backstory)... The jeggings sizing is not as bad as that, but still off ..so I poured thru reviews and I decided to order a 10 and and 8 both to avoid waiting and with the price.. well why not right?? So it worked out perfect.. the dark rinse looks the best in the 8 but the white as well as the sage look better in the 10... . The lighter colors have a different feel..just a completely different look...I dont how else to explain it..just different..The dark pair looks like a higher end name brand .. they have a thick very smooth demin feel and it takes them next level.. I am in shock at how great these jeans look ... I have gotten so many compliments on them ..and I just have worn them once. I do wish they had belt loops then you would be able to really do different things, but thats ok ..This particular color takes me back to being young and finding the "the perfect pair of jeans" all you ladies know exactly what I'm talking about!!! Except back then mine were Calvin Kleins and I could only afford one pair, because they were 100 dollars ..I promise it was so far back ... let me just say I don't want to put the year in writing..LoL..but these are a steal.. so I'm going to buy a few pair after I wash them... y'all know you can't be sure until you wash something.. so I call fully recommend these ..its just trial and error on size, but in this case I think it's worth it.. I also want to say I did get them in regular length and I have very very very short legs and they still were great.. I did get short in the sage and the white .. to be more casual..thedarker ones I wanted to have either way casual or with heels or knee high boots... hope this helps someone..I'm not big on doing reviews, but sometimes they really help me so I wanted to try to return the favor. I going to ad pictures soon of these...so I helped..

im 5'3" and 102-105ish pounds. thanks to all the details reviews i got black, 2, short and it ends a bit above my ankles which is exactly what i wanted. Not denim jeans, not jeggins, and not proffessional office ish slacks/trousers, just a perfect mix of in between where its fitted but not to casual like jeans that I can wear to clinic for my work (normally paired with flats and a nice blouse or company fleece jacket) i dont think you could dress it up with a blazer but thats not what I was lookign for anyway. very happy. Though i also haven't washed it yet so not sure how much color would come out which honestly its ok if it did because thats normally what occurs with very black pants anyway so I won't count it against them. only complaint is that i wish it had front pockets. will likely buy other colors in the future. great for the price.

I am 5'1", weigh in the mid 150s and my thighs are pretty huge. I normally wear a size 14 petite. For some reason Amazon recommended I purchase the size 12 short, rather than the size 14 short. Often the Amazon size recommendations are correct, so I was a bit hesitant to order a size up from what was recommended, but I am really glad I did. The size 14 short fit me just right, not too tight and not loose. I am sure a size 12 short would have been much too tight. These jeggings are comfortable to wear and didn't shrink in the wash. The thickness is nice - not as thick as regular denim, but not really thin like regular leggings - a good compromise between both. These jeggings come all the way down to the bottom of my ankles with no sagging or bagging at the bottom. They have pockets in the back, but none in the front (although the appearance makes it look like there are front pockets). I really wish there were actual pockets in the front of these jeggings which is why I rated them 4 stars vs. 5 (what's the point of fake pockets?!) Except for the lack of front pockets, I liked these so much after several wearings that I ordered a couple extra pairs in different colors. I know I'll be wearing these frequently over the autumn, winter, and early spring. For the price these are hard to beat!

I have always bought jeans that cost anywhere from 80 dollars on up. I go through great lengths to find the perfect fit and I bought a black pair as a quick cheap something to wear at a charity event I was helping with, no worries if they get ruined. These jeans are fantastic I tell ya! Butt lifting, no roll waist, and I DONT have to pull the butt up every time I stand, they stay perfectly in place! I’m amazed for the price, I bought 3 more pairs. My only request might be front pockets 🤷♀️
