Overall they seem good quality, however the back end of the bottom part has a rather hard , narrow edge that sticks up…if my foot isn’t all the way in when I lower my heel, I have a painful encounter with that edge

These are comfortable slippers that remind me of my mom's growing up in the 90's! The tread is great and I feel perfectly comfortable wearing these to go outside to take out the trash or in my garage or anywhere that I'd normally change into shoes to do. The lining is soft and the support is pretty firm! It doesn't have a super plush give with each step, but it has also held up much longer than slippers that do have that walking on air type give that breaks down pretty quickly. My husband has actually appropriated these from me because he liked them so much. He wears a size 8 wide in men's and these fit him just fine. I wear a size 7.5 in women's and they worked well for me too, so I'm not sure how it fits both of us so well. I would say that the part that goes over the top of your foot is a little deeper than what I'm used to. Like it comes farther up your foot. If I put my foot in as far as it can go, the ruff kind of presses into the front of where my shin and foot meet. They're comfy though and the fluffy part doesn't shed like some slippers do. They also keep my feet warm while not causing them to overheat. My husband's feet can overheat pretty easily, but these don't cause any problems for him which is probably why they've been kidnapped as his now even though they don't exactly look manly. Thankfully they're androgenous enough that he doesn't seem to mind that and the comfort definitely wins out in his opinion. ... show more

The main thing to know with these slippers is that they run small. I normally wear a 7.5 womens and usually size up to an 8 for slippers, but the 8 in these felt snug and my heel was right up against the plastic rail at the back. I’ve never needed an 8.5 in any shoe or slipper, so I assume this line just runs small. I recommend ordering a full size up from your usual shoe size. Once on, they molded nicely to my feet and stayed secure with no slipping, but the length itself doesn’t loosen, so sizing up is important. For reference, mine are in the color Sand. Comfort wise, they’re excellent. The faux fur lining is dense, plush, and very warm, and the footbed has a nice cushioned feel that’s supportive enough for standing around the kitchen for a while. I mostly wear them barefoot and they’re soft with no scratchy spots. Compared to my UGG slippers in a similar style and the same size, these do run smaller and the upper sits a bit higher on the foot, almost at the ankle, which felt unusual at first but became comfortable after a short break in period. The outsole has good traction and I’ve worn them outside on wet grass and through small puddles without slipping or getting my feet wet. They’re quiet on hard floors, stay on well while walking, and feel well made with neat stitching and no quality issues.
