I like this dress a lot! I wasn’t sure which size would fit me best, I usually get M, L or XL because you never know the size cut. I ended up purchasing the size L which gives me a big more space and is a tad bigger, but I love the look of the top looking loose and the belt tied on the front compliments the look. It gives you some shape. Without the belt it’s just a straight a line dress. I purchased the red one and the the pattern is little birds. I love it! The dress fabric is a bit heavier than I expected, but I actually like it, it makes it feel more durable. I have been wearing this dress throughout the summer during 85-98 degree weather and I feel fresh, not very sweaty as with other fabrics. I hope this is helpful! I expected the dress to be more of a soft t-shirt material but it wasn't. More like a nice blouse type material. I'm still keeping it because it's very comfortable and will be great for work! I got the M and it fits nicely, I'm 5'5" 160 lbs

I normally order an XL in dresses but the size chart and Amazon recommendations both suggested 2XL so that is what I ordered. I am having rotator cuff surgery in a week and needed a button down type dress that I will be able dress myself since I will not have use of my shoulder. The buttons are a little tight to open, but hopefully will be ok for me once I have the surgery. I was worried about this being a little boxy, but I liked it once I tried it on. There is no elastic at the waist, just the tie belt that came with it. That works for me, as it might be tricky to navigate elastic when I have to step into the dress and pull it up. I like this dress alot. I hope it will serve its purpose once I have my surgery and have to return to work. ... show more

This dress is such a beautiful red and is very flattering. I wear it to work buttoned with the bottom two unbuttoned for flowyness (depends on height). To go out, I unbotton the bottom 3 or 4 and the top 1 or 2 depending on where I’m going! Even when wrinkled, it’s still a beautiful fitting dress.

Fabric is comfortable, not too thin. Has a thicker linen feel, hangs nice but not flowy. It's rectangular and shapeless without a belt. I used a thin, solid colored belt instead of the included fabric one. Casual look, good for a baby shower or birthday party but not a wedding or evening event. Got lots of compliments. Sizing - 5'6" , 36DD, 30" waist. Large was a slightly loose fit and hit a little below the knee. Waist fell higher than natural waist, not quite empire but close.
