These are supportive like a good shoe, but maintain the comfortable feeling of a snuggly sock slipper. There is plenty of grip to the sole but the lug pattern wipes any debris easily. I purchased the lighter pair as they were on sale. The sole wraps up the sides higher than most boot slippers, this keeps the toes and heel scuffs off the uppers. Great unexpected feature. The upper has a slit in the back for rolling down to make a smaller boot, and a stylish alternative. The slit doesn’t seem to affect the support around the ankle or lose any warmth. I have not had a chance to waterproof, which I recommend. We all have purchased variations of this and probably the “original “ expensive ones. These by far have been the top contender. Comfortable, well made, supportive and stylish. True to size. Sturdy but lightweight. Thus far the “Sherpa” lining has not broken down to much, but I do feel it starting. I think if you reach down and fluff it up occasionally, that might slow it down. I did not get these for free or get paid for my review. These are super cute, comfortable, and super warm! These are a true wide, but a little snug at the top. I personally would have gone up a half size, but that is my personal preference. They can survive a Midwest winter with keeping my feet warm.

So far so good. They are snug but feel good. I haven’t tested them in the snow yet but they do feel warm and comfortable. Quality seems good and I love the style. It can be worn 2 different ways which is cool.

I ordered up a size thinking that would allow for thicer socks. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I could wear thinner socks even and still get my foot in. The upper seam at the front of the ankle is so snug it was a real squeeze to get my bare, narrow, foot into it. Once I had them on, they were soft and comfy inside, but no room for socks really. They do seem fairly well made. I also found the deep v cut in the back to be TOO deep. I know it's designed so it could also be folded down, but with no way of fastening the back closed, it leaves the back of your legs really expsosed to the weather. Another thing is the sole of this shoe is really stiff & hard. Like you can knock on it like a plank of wood. There is little to no give and no grip. While that may work for some people, I find the sole to be useless for my needs. ... show more

cute boots (using for slippers, cold weather). Usually wear a size 10 shoe, ordered an 11--- could have gone with a 11.5--but realize the lining will eventually compact a little from wear (plus wear socks). Have a good thick sole/bottom so don't have to worry about feet getting wet.

I had my eye on these for a while and the price went down so I ordered them. I really wanted to like these boots. Ugh... these have to be the worst knock-off "uggs" I've ever tried on. The "fur" inside is stiff and scratchy. The ankle area inside is so stiff and also very scratchy. I could hardly take one step in them. They are very stiff and no real cushion for the soles either. I don't know how these are getting good reviews. I know nothing about their durability or if they are waterproof. I tried them on one foot and it was an immediate NO, back in the package and immediately printed the return label. I'm disappointed in just how cheap they look and feel in real life. I mean, for $20 I don't know what I was expecting, but usually amazon essentials are decent quality at a great price, this just falls short of their usual quality... way short. ... show more

Fits well and are extremely comfortable. They are certainly not waterproof (not sure why the review request asked for that LOL), but they are warm and easy to slip on and off.
