Normally I have a hard time finding boots that fit right. I have a wide calf and also wide feet. I usually wear a size 6 but I sized up to a size 7W in these boots because I couldn't get my size in a wide foot. I am glad I did size up because I feel like it gives my feet more room so that my toes won't be smashed and they are only a tad big. My calfs are about 15 inches around and with these boots it doesn't give me much room if I want to wear jeans under the boots. There is a stretchy part at the top of the boot to accomodate but I'm not sure that I would really say that these are wide calf boots especially if your calfs are bigger than mine. I do wish that they had a full zipper on the side as it is only half zip but that is just my preference when I buy boots. Overall I really love the style of these and they are great staple to have in your closet. I just wish they were a little more wide at the calf.

It’s a nice design riding boot. The zipper is only about mid calf high to help the foot slide in. The heel is a nice comfort height. It’s a smaller medium width that I can do but only with thin socks. However, it says these are wide calf boots. They are wider than normal boots out there but they aren’t a true wide calf boot. It was a struggle to get on. My calf is 17 inches for reference. There is no stretch or give other than that very tiny 1/2 inch guesser by the top of the boot. The lower half where the zipper is bunches a bit and is loose bc I can’t tug the boot up top fully. It’s really smooth on the inside and the material is very nice and doesn’t smell. If they made this boot with a full zipper it be easier to get on and off and be able to stretch the material a little over time. Extra stretch and larger guessets would also be nice.

Amazon Essentials Women's Riding Boot The Amazon Essentials riding boots are nice. They are like pleather and have a good tread sole that will provide good traction on a variety of wet or dry surfaces. Ordered the size 8.5 which was a half size larger then normal to leave room for inserts. Good move as it worked out perfect and would say they run true to size. Nice clean finish om black and the zippers work perfect. Nice liner inside and feel good on. Overall, happy with the Amazon Essentials boots.

These are nice riding boots. The pleather are soft and shiny, the inside is soft too. It has a zipper at the ankle to make it easier to get your foot in. The calf is wide and has a slit with elastic to give it extra stretch too. I thought being wide calf meant the shoe would be wide too but it doesn't feel wide.

First off the material was surprising given the cost. I wasn’t expecting much. Was easy to wear and the top lip makes it easy to tuck in my jeans. The boot was a little tight for me to take off but most of my long boots are. They look great as well.

The boots are exactly like the description pictures. They are a basic riding boot. I am not sure why the zipper only goes up halfway, but it was fine for me. I have a pretty small calf and it fit perfectly, so I might size up to wide if you are not sure. There was a little give in the top with elastic, but not much. I haven't walked far in them (it is summer now, I was just buying ahead!) But they seem to be super comfy from my walk around the house!

From my wife: This is a nice pair of simple black flat boots for the fall and winter. I ordered these boots because my boots with heels were becoming uncomfortable to wear for long periods. I had trouble finding a pair of flat boots in the store that was simple, to go with pants and dresses in colder weather. These boots fit that description and solved the problem. The sturdy gripping sole feels safe for walking around in wetter weather or slippery surfaces. There is room and give for larger calves. The boots are a nice black color and reach my mid-calf. I recommend these boots.
