I wore this to a church function and I received many compliments! This is the perfect summer dress for that type of occasion. The dress is not too form fitting and it still gives you a feminine shape. It is simple & casual, but also elegant & classy. You can dress it up or down! I wore it with nude open toe sandals and I think it looked nice. You could also pair it easily with cute sneakers or your favorite Converse! ( I bought the dress in blue denim too & paired it with my maroon Converse and it was a super cute combo! ) I did order this dress in a large originally, but it was a bit too big & frumpy looking. I returned for a medium, which fits much better. The material is fairly lightweight and suited for summer. I believe the material was thick enough, offering good coverage and it was not see through. Way too big, should have returned it. Hard to tell where to tighten the waist and i think the length was also awkward on me. Wore it once and it was nice n cool, not too thick, but i doubt I'll wear ot again. The color and print were as advertised.

This dress is a nice mid-weight material that should be comfortable for spring through early fall depending on where you live. I originally ordered a medium as Amazon suggested but found it too tight in the bust. For reference, I am about 5'5" and 150 lbs. but have a hourglass, curvy shape with a D -cup. The top part fit but would have required a pin to two for safety. The large was a more comfortable fit with no gaping. I hand washed on cold and laid it flat to dry. I did not notice significant shrinkage in length or overall size. Be aware that this is viscose and requires a cool iron after washing! Overall, it is a comfortable every day dress for work that could be dressed up depending on shoes/accessories. I really like the overall style and am ordering a different color. ... show more

This is a great basic dress. I have a hard time finding dresses that fit, due to a long torso, but this one works, so I bought it in 2 additional colors. The fabric is good too, thick enough to be sturdy but still lightweight and breathable. It even has pockets, that can be used for things as heavy as my phone, thanks to the fabric and waistband. The only con is I'm not wild about puff sleeves, but they're subtle and I like the just-below-bicep length. It would also be nice if there was a knee-length option. I read all the reviews before buying this dress, but it's even nicer than I expected! The fabric is soft, the pockets are functional, and it's very flattering. The sleeves are cute with a little bit of a puff at the shoulder, and the cut of the dress is modest and attractive. Well done, Amazon!
