I love this dress! The fit is super flattering, the fabric feels great, and the quality is exactly what I’ve come to expect from Amazon Essentials. It’s one of those easy, go-to pieces you can dress up with heels or keep casual with sandals.     • Not a great fit for a pear

I really wanted to like this dress but couple things- I'm 5'7", classic pear shape, coming in around 165/170, and I tried the large. If you want to look like a pear in a sack-this is your dress. The top emphasized my smaller shoulders/chest and didn't provide any balance for my booty. The waist is okay but could've cinched tighter. I would've dropped down to a medium but then it would've been super tight. Also the spacing with the buttons was off for me. It kept doing that weird peekaboob thing-not because it was too tight but it just sat weird. The length did nothing for me. It needed to be shorter or longer. And that might be remedied if one wore heels or a taller wedge but I don't have time for that. And I hope you like steaming, ironing, or sleeping next to your dryer because of you don't take this thing out Right away, it's gonna be one big wrinkle. So I wouldn't call it travel friendly. In short- this dress is not a traveling pear's best friend. Gave it three stars because it's made decently for the price point, has pockets, and would be a lovely fit for another shaped person. I am very glad that I ordered this dress. :) The green is so delicately pretty. I am 5'3" tall 132 lbs and I purchased a medium, fits a tad loose ( i prefer my clothes that way) and is very comfortable. The fabric is not thin or see thru either. This dress is not really stretchy but I like the way I can blouse out the top by how loose or tight i pull the drawstring. The pockets are a fun feature of this dress that I really like too! LOL... I ordered a second dress in the confetti white and it's adorable too! ... show more

I wore this to a church function and I received many compliments! This is the perfect summer dress for that type of occasion. The dress is not too form fitting and it still gives you a feminine shape. It is simple & casual, but also elegant & classy. You can dress it up or down! I wore it with nude open toe sandals and I think it looked nice. You could also pair it easily with cute sneakers or your favorite Converse! ( I bought the dress in blue denim too & paired it with my maroon Converse and it was a super cute combo! ) I did order this dress in a large originally, but it was a bit too big & frumpy looking. I returned for a medium, which fits much better. The material is fairly lightweight and suited for summer. I believe the material was thick enough, offering good coverage and it was not see through. Why did you pick this product vs others?: This dress is perfect for the summer, made of lightweight, breathable material. It’s easy to wash and requires no dryer at all, so it comes out wrinkle free. The cut of the dress is flattering to all figures, and fits more loosely without skimping on showing off your curves. It’s the perfect dress for any occasion, being both classy and summery. I have 3 of these dresses; one is a size small and two both in mediums. I talk walks in my neighbourhood it’s n the mediums, and wear the small about town, to social events and to church, as the hem length is ideal for revealing only what is modest for church, even if you’re Catholic! My favorite features are the side pockets with a light and deep, and even with my cell phone or wallet, there’s little pull on the finger drawstring waist. I also like the color selection. I just happened to be wearing the green one today. It’s 90 outside and I was cool enough in the dress to take a walk. Brilliant.
