I didn't expect to like these as much as I do. I got the black pair, and they're actually really cute, kind of boyish and sporty. I would ideally take a 10.5 wide, so I had to make do with an 11 medium, which is always a gamble, but they fit great and are super comfy. They're a little long for my toes, but that gives them the extra width they need. In any event, they stay on my heels and haven't given me any irritation or blisters while wearing them for hours over several days, right out of the box. They're more cushioned than I was expecting and have a nice foam squishiness inside. It's not like they're some deluxe designer running shoe, but they're far beyond your usual casual canvas sneaker in terms of comfort. The heel too is nicely padded, and the materials are decent quality. Even though the leather and suede are synthetic, they feel pliable and have a realistic but subtle sheen to them rather than looking and feeling plasticky, and the soles are durable rubber. They bend and mold to the feet well and feel like slippers on. I swapped out the laces for elastic ones, and they're easy now to slip on and off. Amazon Essentials Women's Low Top Retro SneakerS are cute and sleek. The shoe is flat with no support for your arch but are comfortable if you have flat feet. I wear a 10 .5 and got an 11. They are big but are okay with socks. I do have wide feet and this one is great for that. They are durable and very well made. They are stylish enough to wear with jeans, slacks, or shorts. I think they are great for the price. Just add in some comfortable insoles for your arch. ... show more

Ordered the gray in a size 9.5 for my mom, which is their normal size. They fit true to size. Especially since in the past, sometimes she has had to size up to a 10, but did not need to in these shoes. She especially likes them because they don't have a white sole, which can be hard to keep clean. Just walking around in them indoors, she found them very comfortable and didn't have any issues with rubbing or needing to be broken in. They would be cute with jeans and are versatile enough for all seasons. I thought these looked very Adidas-esque and wanted something more casual that would go with different color wide leg yoga pants to run around in I opted for versatile grey. These are seriously the cutest sneakers. I love the retro look — they go with everything from jeans to casual dresses and instantly make an outfit feel a little more put together without trying too hard. They feel really well made too. The materials have a nice look and texture (don’t feel cheap at all), and the padding around the collar and insole makes them feel comfortable right out of the box. Full transparency… I accidentally ordered a size 5 when I’m actually a 9.5 🤦♀️ so I can’t speak to long-term wear yet, but based on how they’re constructed and how they feel, I’d absolutely reorder in the correct size. I like the retro style of these shoes and they seem to be well constructed. The stitching is good and the laces are well reinforced. However, there is zero support inside the footbed. There is absolutely no arch or heel cup, it is completely flat inside. That said, this could turn into an advantage because you could easily add custom insoles with the space available inside the shoe. I think I would probably buy these again, I'm going to wear them for a while with my insoles and see how I like them. The look is great, the fit just leaves a little bit to be desired. I will say they were big enough from toe to heel, which is sometimes difficult in my size range. So good for Amazon for getting that right! ... show more
