As I was ironing them, I noticed the area around the crotch had excessive pilling! upon closer inspection, these pants had been worn before returning. Horrified! Amazon, please do better than this with quality control. I am going to return them with a BIG notice stating preworn pants sold as new! I am going to order another pair of white pants and hope they are indeed brand new. Ordered a large. Size and length were accurate. Material is lovely. But, please I expect an unworn pair! Gave a 4 because of this. Should have had a 1 rating.

I like these better than some $100 100% linen pants purchased around the same time. The cotton blend is softer and less prone to wrinkling. I’m 5’ 7 1/2” and would buy in every color if they were about an inch longer. They look a little short on me.

I wore these pants during a trip to Israel. They were exactly what I was looking for. They were cool in the hot weather, not sheer or tight, so they were appropriate for holy sites such as churches, and they looked fine without ironing, right out of the suitcase. We visited the site of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, where they really scrutinize your outfit for appropriateness, and they passed the test. I was also able to wash them out in the sink and they were dry by the next day. The pockets are handy. I am 5'5" tall with a 31.5" inseam, and they reached the floor on me. I wear a size 4 or 27 in jeans and the small fit me fine.

I was expecting comfortable lounging pants. But the fabric on these is basically the thick tshirt type that never softens up no matter how many washes you put it through. These won't be in my regular wearables rotation because these are too rough on my skin. The stretch in the waist is secured with a string insert. Lots of leg room and very high rise. Pockets could be deeper. I will stick to the soft terry fabric of the Hanes brand.

First, the good news: I was pleasantly surprised by the cut of these pants through the waist and hips. For me, this is always the crucial test for a pull-on pants because I am cursed with a waist-to-hip ratio of roughly 1:1. I usually wear a 12-14 pants (closer to 14 these days, if I'm being really honest with myself), and these fit well through the hips and the waist. There is a true drawstring that helps cinch it in if you need that, but I'd say these are relatively generous through the waist. The second pleasant surprise was the weight of these pants. I was hoping to have something that would be acceptable for summer casual work settings, and these fit the bill. They don't appear susceptible to the instantaneous wrinkling of some summer linen pants, and the heavier weave of fabric gives them a nice drape. Now, for the bad news: I am 5'4" long and my legs are just long enough to make most petites too short and regular pants a bit too long, but I am generally better fit by regular than petites. These fall in the "too long" category, at least for me. I'll need to wear platform sandals or a shoe with a built-up heel to pull them off this summer, but that should look really fantastic with the wider leg. Finally, with the heavier fabric these will be warmer than I'm used to with linen pants. Add in the black, and they will be mostly relegated to more temperate outings!

The photo shows them as fitting above the ankle. Mine are floor length. I’m 5’4” and order the khaki in small. They are low-rise. They don’t sit at my waist as I’d like but they are still nice pants.
