I do not have a problem with the sleeve cuff or bottom cuff of the garment being too big or loose as some reviewers wrote about. I almost didn't get it because of those reviews...I am so glad I bought it anyway! One very pleasant surprise is that the hood is very nicely lined as well. This sweatshirt is very well made and feels like it will be perfect for Fall or chilly mornings. I purchased the Navy Heather in Medium for my girlfriend (5'5" 130lb). She says the material inside is really soft, and it is well made. No stray threads coming loose, with a smooth zipper action. As some of the other reviewers have noted, it does run slim in the forearms. She says the only thing she sort of does not like is the massive bulk of the hood. If you like to wear your hood, this thing will definitely protect you from anything the skies have to drop on you. We washed it as soon as it was received and did not notice that it shrank a lot after it came out of the dryer. Overall we recommend this Amazon basics sweatshirt. Great fit, nice color selection, and excellent prices. We plan on buying some more in different colors. Get yourself one! ... show more

This is a GREAT hoodie! I got the maroon and love the color, the thickness and warmth. I've washed it once so I don't know if it'll pill after multiple washed. I'd stick with using a delicate warm/cool wash cycle and a quick dry. The fabric is very soft and yet thick enough and the hood sits just right on my head without engulfing it so I don't have to keep pushing it back. Perfect buy. Might buy another color. PERFECT Zip-Up Hoodie. I love the material. I just got it in today, so I don't know about shrinkage yet, but it is 60% cotton. I love the way it feels. You can't beat the price. It's perfect! Soft and the perfect weight. Not to thin. I'm between a small and medium, so i ordered the medium and it had the perfect amount of extra room especially if I want to wear a slightly heavier top underneath. The material looks like good quality, as well a the zipper. Time will tell if the zipper holds up. I find that to be the biggest problem with a lot of cheaper priced jackets. Hopefully not.
