I have a thing about the softness of shirts - if something is slightly not-soft-enough I simply won't wear it. And I of course don't throw it away immediately, but instead I let it sit in my closet for years and years in total denial that I won't wear it until I realize the problem is not how the item looks but how it feels, and then I'm able to part with it... but it's a long and annoying process. I wasn't expecting to be wowed by generic brand tee shirts, but these Amazon Essentials tees are definitely wow-worthy. I'm a petite person (5' 3", 100 lbs.) and the XS fits perfectly. I like that they're slightly fitted, not boxy. The sleeve length and width are just right not oversized. The v-neck isn't too plunging but is more feminine and flattering, in my opinion, than a crew-neck. I bought these ( and reordered several more in assorted colors) to wear tucked into overalls and jeans, etc., so the longer length and slightly stretchy fabric are a plus. Speaking of the fabric, it's sooooo soft, super comfortable even in hot humid weather, and washes/dries beautifully without shrinkage or wrinkles. I do machine wash these only with other lightweight clothing on a gentle setting and machine dry on medium heat, remove promptly and hang up. Best tees I've ever owned, sizing is very consistent, workmanship is excellent. Thousands of times better than Hanes all-cotton tees in terms of manufacturing quality, fabric, fit and wear. ... show more

Was not sure what to expect. Thought might be junk. I must say was wrong. Nice t shirt. Hold up in wash did not shrink. I will suggest buy 1 size up from normal size. I wear a large and all reviews yep buy xtra large. I did. Perfect tee. Will be buying more colors.

I wear t-shirts most of the time and have been looking for a good basic t-shirt in lots of colors. The fabric is a pretty nice, medium weight with lots of stretch. I'm including pics of the fit before and after washing & drying on hot. It fits pretty well, a bit of shrinkage around but the length is about the same. Comes down over my butt. I like the fit, not too baggy, not too tight and not clingy. I like that I can wash it on hot and throw it in the dryer, no need to baby this shirt. The price is great too! I'm finding that of all the shirts I have been purchasing lately, it's the Amazon tops that always end up being my favorites. They must know what they are doing because the fabric is a perfect weight, the quality is impressive and they hang in a very flattering way. These tops were no exception. I have many basic t-shirts but these flatter my figure. They go in slightly at the waist and they are not tight and body hugging but they are not boxy looking either. So I ordered this one Edison downsized it and it was too small but because it’s cheap I’m gonna keep it and make some fabric alterations with the scissors to make it functionable The fabric is great it’s not thin or see through.
