I ordered these in the pale beige and in black. Since most of the reviews said they run small and should be ordered in a half size up from your normal size, that's exactly what I did. The black fit pretty good and only slip in the heel a bit, so I'm going to get something to put inside the back of the shoe in order to prevent that. However, the pale beige that I ordered in the same exact size as the black, are too big. There's too much of a gap in the back of the shoe that even the heel grip won't work. I'm afraid to go down half a sizebecause I think that might be too uncomfortable. So I'm going to return the pale beige and keep the black.

These shoes are simple but comfortable. It is not something stylish but for everyday wearing, it is comfortable and gives very neutral looking. The heels have the right amount of support and the proper height to give a lifted look. Overall these are nice shoes for everyday wear.

Sometimes I think I should just stop buying clothes anywhere else and ONLY buy Amazon Essentials. Everything I've bought from them has been comfortable, fits perfectly according to the size chart, and is durable and well made. Including these shoes! I wear a 9.5 and these fit EXACTLY. If I wanted to quibble I could say they're a tiny bit tight in the toe. They don't have much arch support but what pumps do? The insole is quite cushiony. Far more comfortable than most pumps I've ever tried and definitely better than any heels. I travel extensively and try to bring only two pairs of shoes - a hiking/walking casual pair that I wear on the plane, and a dressier pair that I can wear out to dinner or to more formal occasions and that have to go with either pants or a dress. These are THAT pair. Perfect for everything from a business meeting to a night on the town. I could probably even dance in them except my dancing days are over! These are an excellent value and I definitely recommend them.

I normally wear an 8.5 in dress and casual shoes that’s aren’t running shoes. These Amazon Essential pumps in an 8.5 are too short and too tight, especially across the top of the foot. I think I’d need a 9.5 which I’ve never needed in any shoe other than one brand of running shoes. The shoes are made of polyurethane but the finish is a semi matte that looks nice and could pass for leather. The style is attractive with a 2 inch block heel which is easy to walk in. The toe of the shoe is just long enough to not show “toe cleavage” which I appreciate the coverage.
