When I got these I did not realize these were actually and amazon brand of shoes. Given the different choices presented to me, I chose the nice rich dark brown to review, and I was not disappointed. I think when I opened the box I said out loud, "Wow..." I love the look of these and how hardy the construction of them looks. The laces feel like leather too. Probably should have kept them laced the way they had them, but decided I wanted more of the tennis shoe style and it was easy enough to do. As far a sizing goes, I am a size 12 and without socks, these were tight, but that is pretty standard for leather shoes of this caliber, so you will definately need some thin style of dress socks at first until they loosen up a bit. Even without socks, I did not feel any odd digging into my achilles tendon like I often find with other dressier shoes. This was something I did not expect from a dress shoe. It was actually comfortable to walk in. Bravo Bezos.

Overall, I'm fairly impressed with these shoes. Initial observations suggest the material is better than average quality for the price point. The tag clearly states the uppers are polyurethane, and for fake leather it seems quite nice. The texture is excellent, it feels supple and tough. The stitching is nicely done all around, without frayed ends or missed stitches. The toe cap is exceptional for the price, clean, smooth and without pinches or wrinkles. As far as outside appearances, they are fantastic, and I doubt anyone could tell from 5 feet the difference between these and some similar $300 shoes. Fit is good, although I did notice while the length was appropriate to the size I ordered they are still quite narrow. Not uncomfortably so, but more than I would like were I to spend more than a couple hours in these. Perhaps they will stretch out. I have to say I'm going to recommend a break in period if you have wider feet. The lining is also PU , and while it is fairly comfortable, it is not breathable and will definitely allow your feet to retain sweat. Again, probably not a problem for short term use, but I doubt I would like the smell after a whole day wearing these. The laces are mediocre, although this not a deal breaker at this price. The soles are advertised as being 'natural rubber' which would indicate something nice and soft, however this is not the case. These shoes click on hard surfaces and are quite slippery on anything smoother than asphalt. Please be cautious on polished floors or in wet areas. Don't be mistaken, these are NOT leather, and will not offer the same long term comfort and durability that a good leather shoe will. If you spend all day every day in your dress shoes, you should probably look at something at a higher price point... However, if you need a classy, attractive, good looking and fairly comfortable shoe for say graduations, presentations, or any short term event and you don't want to spend a fortune on it, these are an excellent and highly recommended option. I have not yet found a nicer or better looking shoe for this price, and that makes it an excellent value.

Somewhat cheap looking and feeling, but if you're in a pinch and you need an inexpensive but decent dress shoe...these will fit the bill. I am someone who tends to get blisters on the back of my heel from dress shoes with thin/sharp edges. So, for me, I know these shoes will give me blisters in no time flat. There is no padding (outside of the sole), so you may end up in a similar situation. However, if you don't need to wear dress shoes often, at this price, these are a steal.

This review is based on a quick first impression and a quick try on. I will try to come back in a few months if I can remember to update. That being said, I am pretty impressed at the value here. At the time of writing, these are just over $37.00. For the value, and depending on how they hold up, I may be getting the other two colors also. The materials feel impressive for the price point. I felt somewhat comfortable in them right out of the box. If I had to pick one part I don’t care for, it would be the laces; However, that’s easily remedied. I’m interested to see how they break in and hold up. I’m a larger guy and tough on shoes, so I should know relatively quickly if they will last. I would expect these shoes to sell for $50-60+.

The shoe looks incredible but wow was the size completely wrong. I’m a 10.5 and the size i got is easily a 12 even though it’s labeled a 10.5. I really want to order again but am nervous to receive a defect.

These are a great option at this price point (about $39 at time of review). Look good, soft upper material, doesn't scratch easily. I have been wearing them for a few days. unfortunately, they do cause me pain in my feet. I thought I would get used to them but doesn't seem so. They might be good for shorter term, but I wear this type of shoe all day at work. Comfort is top priority when it comes to footwear for me.
