After a lifetime of wearing Lee Jeans, I decided to try these from Amazon Essentials, and I am so glad I did! I've found them as good or better than Lee's, with a great, classic cut and a terrific fit. The material is a nice thickness (not too thick or thin) and feels of good quality; I found the fit runs a little small, but there are a great number of width and length options available--including a 33" length that is often not available in a jean. Each pair is a terrific value for the money (about $20 less than Lee's). Some pairs within the same size vary, but this seems to be (I'm told) typical of jeans because of the way they cut the material during manufacture. I've ordered several of the same size just to account for the slight variations that can occur, returning the ones that are not as good a fit. There was almost no shrinkage after washing, either, and the jeans look great. I am so grateful to have found these good-looking, well-priced jeans! ... show more

Bought these for my husband and he loves the fit! They run just a teeny bit big, but not enough to size down, he said "just makes them extra comfortable for work". The stretch is perfect for everyday wear, and they washed really well with no shrinking or fading. We're excited to see how they hold up over time, but so far, they’ve been a great buy. Great material. The color is good. I really like the inner seam which almost looks selvedge. The fit isn’t bad but I would prefer a relaxed fit. I’ve searched for relaxed but Amazon doesn’t provide any in less than a 40 waist

These jeans are perfect. The fit is excellent and true to size. The waist runs a little large, making room for your favorite carry. The stretch makes for great comfort. Maybe it was me, but these ran a little smaller and did not fit as i had hoped. I returned them and went with a different brand. Everything else seemed fine. They were a nice thickness and looked nice. Pockets were similar to others.

These jeans are so soft and comfortable. I like the fit - it's put together for comfort and function. I can wear these to work or to work in my yard. I don't know if this is a design issue or something that happened to my pair. While putting them on for the first time, the buttonhole was too small for the button. Great pants for big folks like me. The denim is not too rough and my pants has last for at least one year since purchase. As the material is thin enough not to feel bulky, it is thick enough to be jeans.
