I like the feel/ color and quality of the material. That said, the quality of the sewing , on the inside of the jeans leaves a lot to be desired. I have worn a LOT of jeans in my 66 plus years and have never experienced a zipper this short before. In other words, the zipper does not allow the jeans to open as wide as normal. I also find the top button about the zipper is very hard to push through the button hole. That might loosen up with wear.

Amazon really needs to get its act together with the descriptions of these jeans. I'm getting on in age, and I prefer a little more room in my jeans. The "athletic-fit" jeans say "Extra room in the hip and thigh", so that's what I got. They were a proper fit in the waist and length, but a tad snugger than I'd prefer in the thighs. I ordered a pair of these Straight-fit jeans and these have the added room that I want. Hardly "baggy", but comfortable. Both cuts of the Amazon jeans that I purchased were a little on the large size in the waist. Once I knew this, I simply ordered one sized down and they're perfect. I think that for the price, they're a good deal. They only have five belt loops rather than seven, and somewhere I heard that this was a sign of "cheap" pants. But I don't see what I'm losing. If nothing else, I can get my belt on faster. They're fairly soft and look good. I find myself buying more and more of the Amazon Essentials clothing and liking it better than the brand name stuff.

Everything about these are great. The feel, color, price, everything. But they run large. On me, with Levi 501 regular non-stretch jeans, I need a 38" waist. Even then the 38" Levis are tight. I ordered a 38" pair of these, and they were way too loose. I tried washing them to see if they shrink, but I don't think they changed size, still too loose. So I ordered a 36" waist pair of these, and they are very comfortable and fit in the way I like them to fit. I suggest go one size down. Mostly because they are very stretchy. I will be ordering more, now that I know the size.

At $34 these jeans are a good value for the cost. Fabric is a decent thickness, the fit is pretty good (slightly tight in the thighs), pockets are on the short side, and the button hole need’s reinforcing, because it’s getting bigger after wearing a few times. Colors are good with me.
