These shoes are Amazon Essencials slip on shores. They come in 5 different color combinations. I bought the Navy/White combination. The shoes have a tough cotton canvas upper and a synthetic rubber sole. These should wear well. From a looks stand point, they are very attractive shoes. The cushioning is minimal. There is no arch support. Size wise, they are true to size. I wear a size 11-1/2, and they fit perfectly. I also normally wear a wide 4e width. These shoes feel OK from a width standpoint. As for being slip in’s, I had trouble just trying to slip them on when wearing socks. I had to use one finger behind the heel to get them on my feet. However, once on my feet, they felt comfortable. A good feature about these slip on’s is that they have no heel rise when walking. Normally slip on’s will have a slight heel rise upon taking a forward step. As far as price, they are a very good value. Easy 4 stars. I would have given them 5 stars except for the no arch support and lack of cushioning.

This is comfortable pair of shoes. I wear size 8M shoes and this one is true to size. I have some other brand name canvas shoes, and this one is very bit comparable to them, if not better. The sole is made of quality rubber and has good grip to ground. The inner sole is said to be made from PU. At first glance I thought it is leather as it touches and feels very nice. My feet feel secure and comfy on them. The shoes are well made. I don't find any defect or open seals (see pics). The sole has good thickness to provide good cushion and it appears to be durable. Getting my feet in the shoes is very easy. I find the opening is just about right, not too tight nor too wide. The shoes are just snugged to my feet with no worry to wobble or drop. I ordered the Black/Black color. This is the best color combination on me when paired with jeans (see the last pic). It looks trendy and classic. I love these these shoes! I'll come back later with long-term report after wearing them for some time.

I got these sneakers for my husband in grey/white. He said they were just okay. He liked the amount of padding on the bottom but said he wished there was more of an arch support built into the sneaker. The canvas on the side seemed durable and the elastic built in made the sneaker easy to put on and take off which he liked. The soles have a small tread and he could walk on tile and wood floors without slipping. The biggest issue he had with the sneakers, however, is that they are very narrow. He tends toward wider feet and that made the sneakers uncomfortable for him. He can wear them for a short period of time but wouldn’t be able to wear them all day. I thought they looked nice on him, but his comfort is the most important thing and for that they don’t rate highly. If you have narrow or medium width feet, you will probably really like these sneakers. They are well-made and a good value. Until these are available in a wide width, however, you should consider not purchasing.

This shoe looks exactly like it looks in the photos; there will be no surprises. The navy blue color is very dark and almost looks black in low light, but even online the photos accurately reflect that. I’ll speak to two issues I had with the shoes: sizing and comfort. I have been a size 10 for decades now and have bought shoes from every company around with good fit. These particular shoes, however, were at least a half size large for me. Even with thick socks, the back is slipping off as I walk. That is even more pronounced because of the fact that the sole of this shoe is very stiff. With a slip-on shoe, you want some bendability in the front so that it can remain in place in the back while you walk. These are rather firm throughout the bottom, so with the larger size I do have some slipping off. In addition, there is very little cushion in this shoe and absolutely no arch support — absolutely none. The insole is completely flat. With a big of time, my foot seems to be molding these a bit, but be prepared for an extended break-in period. All that said, they look good and are reasonably inexpensive.

The Amazon Essential slip-on sneakers come in five color (black, grey and white) variations. I got the grey/white combination. The sneakers have good stitching and a decent no slip sole. I usually wear a 10.5 wide or 11 regular and went with the size 11 which fit nicely wearing socks and were comfortable. With socks on, slipping them on and off was very simple. I usually like to go without socks, but these were uncomfortable without them. Trying them without socks the sides were rough and hard against my ankle bone. The shoe are easy to walk in and light on your feet.

Needed a pair of casual slip-on sneakers for my wardrobe. They are made of quality materials and are well constructed. The fit is a bit tight on the top of my feet while wearing socks. These can be worn with or without socks. The soles are nearly as thick as athletic sneakers so it will take some time to break them in so that they will flex more easily while walking in them. Good value for the price.
