I has such high hopes for these jeans because it's so difficult to find jeans for my husband's 33 inch waist. Hardly anyone carries that size. Husband loved the jeans, the fit, the slight stretch in the material. Then he tried to put his phone in the front pocket like he always does. IT WOULD NOT FIT but stuck out at least 1/2 inch or more (this is a new Pixel 7 Pro so it is a longer phone than some). But really, these pockets would maybe hold an older, very short phone and that's all. To me, the bottom line is if you are going to make jeans for men who carry all sorts of things in their pockets, PLEASE make the pockets deep enough to hold the stuff! I was sorry to send them back but this was a big red flag for my guy.

I tried the Amazon Essential slim fit jeans partly as I couldn't find any others I liked and partly because they are a better price and it's easy to work with Amazon if you need to return the item. These are the best jeans i've found in about 5 years. I was always a "Levi" guy but found it impossible to purchase the ones I've worn for years. They no longer have the same feel, fit or quality that they used to, add to that the price of Levi's which is more than 2 1/2 times the Essential ones. I liked them so much I immediately ordered 2 more pairs. Definitely 5 stars in my opinion

Levi's 511 are my goto, and these fit me almost the same. Some other reviews have noted the Amazon Essentials are more between a slim and straight, and that is true in my case. However, availability of so many odd numbered sizes allow me to step down an inch in waist size, where these fit me almost exactly the same as even sized 511's. Materials and colors appear every bit as good as 511's, and better in some cases (some Levi's dark colors seem less like denim than the Amazon jeans).

These popped up as an Amazon “deal” for like $12 and I figured what the heck. Glad I did. Nice jeans. Be careful on length though, they are very generous in that regard. Another small thing I didn’t like was the rivets at the pockets, they can dig into your side if you have something in your pockets. Also, pocket openings aren’t wide enough for my average size hands. But these two things wouldn’t prevent me from buying another pair or 2. Normally I buy dark blue(indigo) or raw denim cuz I like to break them in myself but the vintage ones I got came nicely colored/rinsed but did have an odd chemical smell for the first few washings. Anyway all and all I will get more when Amazon throws up another deal.

Not much more I can add than what I put in the title. Jeans are great. Good fit and nice stretch. But I've washed them about four times and they still smell like mothballs and grandmothers. Honest to god, what does Amazon do to these jeans?

These jeans are the same equivalencies as Gap or AE. I typically wear 7’s or Joes but as I loose weight and go between sizes this is a temporary solution. Jeans fit fine, the slims fit as expected but a little tighter in the thigh. The dark was though bleeds heavily and will stain lighter jeans when washing. Also they will release dye on the tops of your shoes so I recommend wash multiple times before wearing.

I have purchased these jeans in different colors before and love them. They have a little stretch to them but fit great. This particular color was on sale and now I know why. They do not stretch at all. Not that I need them to but it does add added comfort when you are bending over or sitting for a while
