For $19, it’s amazing. The quality of this polo is far superior than polos I’ve paid over $50 for. I’d get it dry cleaned so the collars don’t get ruined in the washing machine and dryer since it doesn’t come with collar stays. The slim fit looks great and it’s quite comfortable as well. I'm 5'8" and most untucked shirts look too long — like dresses — on me. This shirt shrinks to a nice length that hits just below the beltline — which is really ideal for my torso. So I'm very happy. If you are tall, you might have a different opinion though. Okay so I’m 5’7”, around 157 lbs and when I got this shirt, the Medium was way too big (that’s my normal size) and Small actually fit me pretty good so I was afraid to wash it. Sleeves covered 3/4 of my upper arm and the armpits were a bit low, length was perfect and didn’t cover my goods. After washing it though, sleeves came mid upper arm, armpits were nice and high but the length was a little higher than I usually like it but nothing a bit of stretching can’t fix for this bad boy. I was also worried about the collar getting all scrunched up after drying like a lot of polos get but this one stayed nice and flat. It’s not wrinkle-free so you have to hang it up right when you get it out of the dryer. If you’re an athletic fitness kinda guy like me and you like your shirts to be almost form-fitting, get a size down. If you’re not or you just like your shirts to be breathable and not painted on, get your regular size. Thinking about actually getting more of these. ... show more

I recently purchased the Amazon Essentials Men's Slim-Fit Cotton Pique Polo Shirt for my oldest son who has to wear uniforms to school. I must say that I am quite impressed with the quality of the shirt. The slim-fit design gives a sharp and modern look, while the cotton Pique fabric provides a comfortable fit all day long. My son has worn it for several days and it has held up well after multiple washes. The shirt does not lose its shape or fade, which is a great relief for me as someone who is constantly faced with having to replace clothes in the middle of a school year. The overall fit is okay, so I'll keep it. I tried the "regular fit" but that was more like "HUGE/MASSIVELY-FAT fit". The "slim fit" is more like what I'd consider "regular fit". But the sleeves SUCK. These shirts are NOT made for physically active people who need allowance for UPWARD OR FOREWARD ARM MOVEMENT. It's as if they're made just for people who just go around with their hands in their pockets all day long. The sleeves on this shirt — and just about every other so-called "modern" polo you can get these days — are very restrictive of ANY kind of arm movement. I've uploaded a photo to compare this shirt with an older shirt I have. You can see that it's VERY tight in the armpits and across the upper arm, not like they appear in the product photos, but the photos don't show models with their arms raised — I wonder why? The fabric is soft and comfortable, but also weak and flimsy compared to the REAL polos I used to wear when they first came into vogue, that I used to buy in this price range (allowing for inflation). If I ever find a clothing brand that brings back a real classic polo, I'm going to buy a truckload of them. I miss them. ... show more
