They could almost pass off as shoes you got from some big department store. The look is just a bit off because they come to a dramatic point. The color is fine though and what you would expect from a "dark brown". The feel a bit plasticky and flimsy compared to the materials found in other shoes. This is all coming in at a bargain. For what you pay, this could make a suitable pair of everyday shoes for the office or for some teenager who needs them every so often.

First, these shoes get loose after a couple of times wearing them. Second, the heel is slowly starting to peel away from the sole. They are comfortable shoes, though. Not bad if you need a pair of cheap dress shoes

I was considering of getting a brown colored formal shoes for work for a while and when I saw these, I ordered a pair right away. I am not sure if I made a mistake in ordering but I received 9 when I wanted a 9.5. I was really worried that it would be unwearable for being half a size smaller and the style being narrow with pointy front. So, I inserted my boots expander for a day and I was happy to see that it worked. I was able to wear them and they look great. They are also quite comfortable but I think they need more time to break in to be totally comfortable.

These are one of my many pairs of dress shoes that I wear to work. I really like these derby shoes, but my only problem with them is that they're a bit tight since the shoes are pointed.

For a faux leather shoe, these have a lot going for them. They are classic looking, and the faux leather is believable. However, the big issue is the toe is really pointy. The shoes are comfortable enough for a night out, though I’d probably add to the insole if I were going to wear them all day. (The existing insole padding is not removable.). The soles have adequate grip. The heal is very well constructive and attractive. The laces are appropriate length and seem of good quality. A small, but really nice feature is there are eyelets beyond the lace holes. You can’t see them, but they are a nice touch to reinforce the holes. I took a picture from the inside to see them - nice touch. What keeps these being a 5 star faux leather value shoe? First, the shoe tip shouldn’t be so long and pointy. I am between a 9.5 and 10 size, and ordered 10s, which conceptually fits. However, the tip of the shoe is over an inch and a half from my toe - that is how pointy they are. Second, nicer insoles or at least one that is removable so you can choose one for your preference.

I've been wearing these for a couple of weeks now and they have been very comfortable to wear. Keep in mind, I wear them in an office setting, with three to four miles of walking per day in them. Construction is solid, the laces are nice (no double knotting), and the soles are nice and grippy. Do they take the place of shoes that range in the hundred of dollars? Absolutely not. But for the price point they are at, I don't think you will go wrong.
